Yard Truck Specialists — Attraction in Bensalem Township

On May 7, I placed an order for a windshield through Yard Truck Specialist on behalf of my father's business. The windshield was shipped from the company to a warehouse in Miami, then forwarded to Antigua in the Caribbean. Upon arrival, we discovered that the windshield was cracked.

Understandably, this was disappointing. I immediately contacted Yard Truck Specialist to report the issue. I was told, without hesitation, that there was nothing they could do since the item had been forwarded to a separate location. This response was extremely frustrating, especially considering I paid $368.74 for the windshield and an additional $241 for shipping—nearly the cost of the item itself.

Initially, I considered letting the issue go, assuming the damage was a risk of international shipping. However, my father later informed me that the windshield had been extremely poorly packaged. There was no protective material—no foam, no bubble wrap—nothing to secure the windshield. It was simply placed in a box with empty space beneath it and shipped in that condition. Given the high shipping cost, the lack of proper packaging is unacceptable and frankly, negligent.

When I brought this up, the parts manager stated that we should have inspected the item before forwarding it to Antigua. I explained that the package was sent to a warehouse where no one is authorized to open or inspect packages, which is a standard process for many businesses that consolidate shipments to reduce international shipping costs.

Had the windshield been properly packed, this situation could have been avoided. We are now out $609—$241 of which went toward shipping a product that was destined to arrive damaged. I would've given this company ZERO stars if I could! I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled and hope Yard Truck Specialist will reconsider...

There is not even enough stars for these guys. They bring new meaning to accuracy and speed. And their customer service is unlike any other. I have yet to run into something they cannot find at an indescribable speed. And I mean this literally.. Joe Cerrone is by far #1 on my list when I need parts. He is fast accurate and quite frankly unbelievable. He’s gotten countless parts for me and it still blows my mind How quickly he gets them to me. In this industry getting these units up n rolling is imperative and thanx to the help of these guys Joe in particular I have managed to cut wait times by an unbelievable number.
