Great little beach for young children. The sandy area is accessible by a few ramps at the far sides, but that can be a bit of a walk. Most people seemed to just go up and down via the embankment or curb. The parking lot is decent but coming from South Quarry, it was tough to see that there was a separate entrance and exit. There are numerous lifeguards on duty who are very serious about safety. The lake is separated into a shallow and deep end. I saw the restrooms and sign for Honey Hut, but didn't have occasion for them on my visit. I will update if I avail myself of these services in the future. The nearby ponds, Cafe, playground and beach were great for the kids and anyone wanting to explore and...

But overall, the kids could see well and we enjoyed watching them experience fireworks for the first time. We plan on going back to the same spot next year. Maybe early and having a picnic. It's a lovely area! And the police were there to help direct traffic out which was...
