After a long day of driving from Michigan to Ohio, we checked into our hotel around dinner time and pondered what to eat. The selection around our hotel was all the typical fast food restaurants. A recommendation from our hotel listed this restaurant. Since we are big fans of Thai cuisine, this was an easy choice. I opted for the traditional Pad Thai and my wife ordered the Pan Fried Chicken Pineapple. Upon opening our takeout, I immediately noticed my pad thai was rather opaque-looking. Subconsciously, I thought this was going to taste bland but I couldn't be more wrong. The pad thai itself had a nice sweet, salty and sour note. The chicken and shrimp were a bit of a letdown as it was overcooked/rubbery. I think the pad thai would've tasted better with just vegetables. The pan fried chicken pineapple was a very simple dish without much to compliment about. Overall, the food was good as was the pricing.

I was really excited to eat here but… the chicken was completely inedible (it was hard and chewy like rubber) and there was a strange squishy lump in my rice. I’m not sure if the lump was seasoning but it was squishy/sticky like animal fat. I mentioned the chicken problem to the server and was not given a refund/partial refund or any sincere apology/explanation. I paid nearly $20 for this minuscule plate of food and could not even finish it. Some of the plates were chipped and the serving sizes were not consistent for each person. As someone who has been to Thailand and has immense respect for the food/culture I am thoroughly disappointed (not to sound pretentious). Update: I have had a stomach sickness for the last two days after eating this. I don’t even want to imagine what they did to the food

We went there around 6pm on Friday and smoothly got a small table. Overall, their prices were reasonable including a glass of wine and beer except for the appetizer, Mango Rolls. It was tiny with a tiny piece of mango and our biggest complaint was that they used old lettuce. It must be hard to see in the photo but the color has changed to reddish on the edge and some brownish. Main dishes were fine but a waiter spilled mine near our table. The dessert, fried banana wrap, was also tiny and had much more crust than banana. I wish I could give them 3.5 stars.

Sweet Mango Fine Thai Cuisine has been a long-standing staple in Berea, and I’ve always appreciated its charming, quaint atmosphere and consistently friendly servers. It had been a few years since my last visit, but I remembered my past experiences being positive. Unfortunately, this recent visit was a major letdown.

I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, which was priced at $15. In the past, I recall meals being served with a side of soup or a small salad, but that is no longer the case. The dish itself was disappointing from start to finish. The Pad Thai lacked spice and flavor, tasting more like reheated leftovers than freshly prepared food. The chicken, in particular, was subpar—it didn’t taste fresh and gave the impression of being reheated. For the price, I expected something far more appetizing and reflective of the vibrant, bold flavors Thai cuisine is known for.

I’m always reluctant to give a restaurant a negative review, as I understand how challenging it is to operate in today’s environment. However, this negative review is, unfortunately, earned. While the service and atmosphere remain pleasant, the quality of the food fell short in every way. Sadly, it was an underwhelming and unsatisfying meal, and I’m not sure I’ll return...

We started with warm Sake, then ordered the Summer Rolls or aka Spring Rolls, which were very good, as an appetizer. When I asked how many pieces there were in the appetizer, I was told 6. We all assumed that meant 6 rolls. It did not. It was 6 cut pieces, like bite size pieces of maybe 2 Rolls. Which is fine for the price, we just expected more and there were 4 of us. My Fiance and I ordered the Pad Thai and it was very tasty. I loved that the noodles were not dry as most of the other Asian restaurants that we order that dish from often are. The shrimp was large or jumbo size not tiny like many others, also. I would not have objected to having more meat in the dish and next time I will perhaps ask and pay for an extra serving of chicken in it. I liked the sweeter taste of their Pad Thai. Very unique. We also ordered the Banana dessert as well as the Custard one. Both were scrumptious. The service was excellent. The aromas coming from the kitchen as I went in the hallway to use the Restroom, were incredible!! I have no idea what was cooking in there but I'm sure it must have been delicious, too!! The Restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere casual yet classy. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and shall like to return...

I am giving this pace two stars, because I usually like coming here. But last time we took our food to go, it was just a mess. We ordered curry and coconut soup, they both have broccoli, but broccoli was so yellow, not green. Thanks for using old vegetable in our food to goo, Sweet Mango. Secondly, when I opened my coconut soup I discovered there a short black hair. Since I was on a date, it was meant to be a nice picnic in the park, I didn't want to make a big deal/ scene of unpleasantness and just pulled it out of my soup. But the last straw was the dirt in our rice noodles that we ordered as a side. It literally had black dirt in between the noodles if they were clumped together. I did take a photo of that one, cause at that point it was enough. I'm giving this place two stars because we had food there in the past and it wasn't bad . But I would t recommend this place any more to any obe after our terrible experience with quality of...
