We needed a new vacuum cleaner and decided to buy from a local business. This was to support the local economy and so I would be able to go to them with questions and for product support and repair. I chose Supervacuums. After speaking with someone on the website, I called Ray at the Bethel Park store. I spoke with them about features I wanted and about the price range and then I listened to their recommendations. I like that their website shows prices and availability, but discuss prices and availability with them; you might get a better price than is shown on the website and a product might be available to them even if the website says it is out-of-stock. You can go into the store to look at the vacuum cleaners and to try them out. We did not go into the store, because of the pandemic, and conducted our business transaction by phone. They shipped our vacuum cleaner to us and it arrived very quickly. We will be able to bring our vacuum cleaner to them before the one-year warranty expires and they will give it a tune-up. We were very satisfied in every way! Thank you, Ray, and...
Read moreAfter experiencing frustration with my current vacuum, I went to walmart to check out prices on machines. After a little research, I realized even the higher end vacuums at walmart were all not only made in china but are made so that when a part breaks it can't be replaced forcing you to buy a new one. this is how they keep their prices so low. I had heard bad reviews about the previous owner of this shop, but was relieved to meet Dan, the current shop keeper. Because he is the only one that works there, there is a quality customer service provided that you just can't find these days. I felt good knowing that my purchase would personally benefit a hard working employee rather than fund corrupt industries fueled by uneducated consumers. Support your local economy and buy...
Read moreA HUGE shout out to the great guys at Super Vacuums in BP! I had an older Oreck that needed some TLC but I wasn't sure how much $ I wanted to put into it. I had called David's vacuum (formerly The Oreck Store) and they wanted $80 for a tune up and to tell me if it needed anything else....if it needed a new roller brush, it would have been an additional $60.) Instead I went to Super Vacuum and I'm so glad I did. They tuned it up for $29.95 (with a coupon) and cleared a clog, enzyme washed the bag, replaced the paper bag and put on a new roller brush....I paid a TOTAL of $80. The vacuum is amazing and like new!! The guys were super sweet, efficient and knowledgeable. They were also very kind and tolerant of my daughter with SN who was with me. Super Vacuums now has a...
