Magarian Rug — Local services in Marblehead

Very disappointing. Cori and Wayne nice people. Had an oriental, and whale rug cleaned, came out so, so. Installed a runner up the stairs, two 3 x 5's, pic attached. Runner has a few squiggly lines. Right from the start. Thought deep vacuum would take them out, like any new rug. Over time, tried vinegar, Dawn, water, they remained. Not in the 3 x 5's. We take our shoes off, no one in the house. Not that kind of spot anyway, not a shoe print, or mud, grease, just a few lines. Anyway, brought this up to Wayne who insisted it must be our fault. Never offered to come over and look at it, or suggested another way to clean it. Apparently the customer isn't always right. When it was installed, installer was stapling, marks on rug showing where the staples were. Brought this to his attention, he said nothing he could do, it was the stairs. Used ice a number of times to bring up the fibers, better, but in one spot, you can still see staple marks. Beyond disappointing, never again. I am sure Wayne will respond and deny the whole thing. As a design professional on the North Shore, I’ve worked with showrooms from here to the Boston Design Center. I'm not an easy client; I ask too many questions, consider too many options, and have high expectations. When it came to fulfilling custom rugs for my own home, I chose Magarian. Sizing custom runners demands careful attention to detail; Magarian installers found solutions for tricky landings and inconsistencies in the architecture, and heard all of my specific requests (wider-than-standard paths, tight waterfall installation, minimal tacking, etc.). I had been looking for an area rug for my living room for a very long time. None of the rug designs were exactly what I was looking for and the standard sizes weren't working for my space. I went in to Magarian Rug and worked with Cori to pick out some samples so I could bring them home to see what would work best with my furniture.
