Soall Viet Kitchen — Restaurant in Marblehead

Soall Bistro means you can have inventive and amazing food on the North Shore. Soall makes me feel like I'm in Somerville or Cambridge where passionate owners create flavor experiences that become memories.

The Bahn Mi stands out with the perfect combination of vegetables, cilantro, jalapeno, protein and pâté. I appreciate they put the "right" amount of pâté (where most shy away. Their noodle and rice bowls are flavorful and bold. The Pho is rich and wonderful.

Their menu is great for Vegetarians. I appreciate they change the menu over time -- it makes it fun to come in.

The greatest part of Soall is Sa Nguyen (one of the owners). She seems to always be there and keeps innovating from the menu to improving the layout.

I'm writing three because the food is delicious but the service is TERRIBLE. Two young girls that work there are so rude every time. Last time I went there I waited 25 mins for them to even acknowledge I was there and over two hours for our entrees. I got takeout recently and got a salad and it was a fifth of the way full (literally empty container) and they messed up the order. I even heard them talk about me when I walked out because they messed up the order. When they "corrected" the order it was still wrong they forgot the sauce that goes with it. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! We arrived as a group of five, and even though the place is small, the server was kind enough to accommodate us by putting two tables together. The server (Lily) was wonderfully kind and professional, and did not seem remotely stressed even though she was the only server that night and it was the height of the dinner rush. A sixth person even joined us later on, and Lily seamlessly added her order to the table’s. The food was superb and absolutely hit the spot.
