HORRIBLE STAY. (6/17-6/19)

I visited for what was supposed to be three nights but I gladly ended my stay sooner. This place is dated, filthy, dingy and needs new management. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

I checked in around 10 PM on night one which was noted during the reservation. Upon entry into the room I noticed a smell that was off. I checked around the room & ran the shower with hopes to get settled in but noticed dust mites along the night stand, headboard, closet doors and lamps. The carpet was stained, there were crumbs near the bed and literally trash underneath the dresser.

In the bathroom shower, the soap dispenser was broken but the soap scummed rack was still on the wall. The shower curtain was also ripped & had piling. The water pressure was low & the water would not drain in both the shower & sink.

I called the front desk, they apologized and stated they were at capacity & could give another room. When asked if they had any early checkouts where we can be transferred to another room we were told security would be sent up tonight to assess the room & take a report. Security visited about 20-30 minutes later and was equally disgusted. I completed the incident report & was told cleaners could come wipe down surfaces once they arrived for the midnight shift. Also they would send plumbers up.

This was a huge inconvenience after traveling & there was no way they could get things done while we were occupying the room. I cleaned up a bit with Lysol wipes & told the front desk we would prefer to switch out in the morning & they agreed. In the morning we were told the room wouldn’t be ready until 1 PM. At 2 PM we were told to wait until 4 PM by the very rude associate Kris. At 4 PM when we were told it was still not ready I asked for the supervisor & we were given a room right away.

The second room was equally dusty, dated and there was MOLD on the bathroom ceiling. Some of the common areas were also in bad shape. The ceiling was leaking in the halls & casino bathrooms. Such a disappointment, I strongly suggest you do not book a stay at Harrah’s Gulf Coast until there are some major...

What do you say about Harrah's Casino it's very nice hotel it was our first visit and as far as a room accommodations we ordered way ahead of time are you smoking room my girlfriend smokes and we come down all the time on these charters we go somewhere about once a month I have been for over 20 years my girlfriend still kind of new to it this was like her 10th trip overall as we was not able to get a smoking room and we ordered it weeks ahead of time was not very happy how about that now as far as the room that we had it was very nice not kind of small my girlfriend had to keep going back and forth downstairs smoke she was not happy also beside Steak and Shake restaurant Steak and Shake was very reasonable on their prices to eat as far as the other restaurants on property extremely high for what you did it and I eat out three times a day and my girlfriend will eat out everyday three times a day I never complain about prices I thought they were right in so a few times we went off property and eat also I thought the casino could have done a better job by letting us know about the tropical storm coming in but he never mentioned it not one person mentioned it if we hadn't had her cell phone warning us about the incoming storm we would have never knew nothing about it I think that's a mistake by Harrah's they should let us know and I understand we was not in any immediate Danger but I think I should have told us more information as far as the gaming floor goes I thought it was really really small there's not enough poker machines at all there's way more slot machines and table games in poker machines my girlfriend and I are poker machine players I didn't say nowhere near enough options also I thought the machines were extremely tight as far as the flight goes it was good coming and going a little bit of turbulence and as we landed in Biloxi was kind of a bumpy Landing besides that everything went okay I would like to be re-invited back to Harrah's my girlfriend and I if I come back and try it again I would be willing to come back and she would be too if the correction can be made...

We booked a Junkit to Biloxi just to experience the gulf coast Harrah’s arriving at 8pm to the airport the transfers were quick and easy getting us to the hotel by 8:30pm. Unfortunately our room keys were not in our packet as when we arrived at the hotel we spent an additional 30 mins in line waiting for room keys. We booked a deluxe gulfview with deposit only to get a deluxe parking lot view then we arrived to our room. Calling the front desk immediately on arrival to our room we were bluntly told sorry but no gulfviews available and hotel fully booked. Starving we headed down at 9:15pm to eat to find all restaurants closed except Steak n Shake on the other side of the smoke filled casino. Ordered some chicken fingers and fries from a representative with major attitude that they were slammed as our entire flight was hitting them all at the same time as they were the only place open. The fingers so heavily breaded, over cooked and just nasty we snacked on fries before heading back to the room and calling it a night. The next morning we hit the reset button and Starbucks was amazing. We rented a Cabana by the pool in advance and Hannah our server by the pool was absolutely amazing the best of the best and Thank You to her our drinks fabulous and her food recommendations we had the best day WOW!!! If your a non-smoker or bothered by smoke we would suggest the casino in the morning only as it has aired out overnight the non-smoking area of the casino only has old games. 20% of the population smokes 80% are non-smokers and adjustment is so needed here! We played and enjoyed with small fun wins morning only in the main casino. Magnolia for breakfast was way over priced $50 for two for 2 eggs, bacon, toast and breakfast potatoes listening to to edm music at breakfast seriously not at the club at 8am.To close we had a good time but lots of room for improvement at this location starting with earlier arrivals for junkits and full room keys in packets upon arrival or ever room keys assigned to out Caesar’s...

For the price that you pay, I would NOT recommend this hotel for sleeping accommodations. Let's see, let's begin at the beginning: 1. The hotel claims to be renovated but clearly they forgot to renovate the King Deluxe/non-smoking rooms. There was nothing renovated about room 859. 2. The hinges behind that bathroom doors where completely rusty. 3. The bathroom floor looked as though it had not been mopped since they put the tile down. 3. The tub appeared to be from the 70's 4. The legs on the legs attached to the bathroom sink was also filthy( yes filthy) and rusty. 5. The window sills in the room looked as thought they had mildew in them or maybe it was just dirt. 6. The rubber baseboards under the window had completely peeled away from the wall and was literally just hanging when you pull the curtains back. 7. Oh and went to bend down to tie my shoe and saw that the side of the bed platform bed had this white substance all over it ( not sure what the hell that was). 8. Carpets where stained in multiple places. 9. Oh and even though I didn't have an accessible room, the toilets are so low to the ground, they will probably feel like they are about to touch your chest. 10, Finally they DO NOT provide daily housekeeping services, if you want fresh towels you have to throw your old towels on the hallway floor next to your door or in the big bins that they sit in the hallway and housekeeping will bring you fresh towels in a bag and hang them on your door...... WTH!!!!!!! Bottom line is for almost $300 per night Harrah's should be ashamed of themselves!!!! If you plan to visit Gulf Coast, please do yourself a favor and go stay somewhere else. Oh one good thing did happen... I did WIN at the Casino!

My family and I took a road trip to Biloxi, Ms instead of a family reunion. Harrah's Gulf Coast Hotel is where we stayed. The casino atmosphere was great the staff was very friendly and helpful and the slots machine was ok. The restaurant Port 17 was excellent the first night stay great service and the food delicious the presentation great I would rate it a ten overall. My husband ordered the surf and turf and I ordered the grill salmon. So we decided to eat there again the second night around 8:40 pm and the restaurant stop serving at 9:00 pm. My husband ordered the same thing as the night before so I decided to order the surf and turf also. Now this item is $44.99 each on the menu that being said the cashier called out the order to the cook. And all HELL broke out the young man who is the cook yelled back what at this time of night. May I mind you there's at least three other people behind us waiting to order and there's people waiting for their orders. So the cashier tried his best to be as polite as he could and as the cook to make the order please. I told my husband that we probably should get our money back and eat else where because I felt like the food wasn't going to be right or enjoyable. In the end I was right the food was Horrible for the price. It was very disappointing so the remaining stay we ate of the property.

As a Caesars Diamond level player, this is a smaller venue and not as awe inspiring in comparison to Beau Rivage and Golden Nugget in Biloxi Mississippi. Casino floor is smaller than average and in the back of the property rather than a grand entrance like other casino properties. Small lobby crowded next to the restaurant Mix and Mingle and Starbucks. Regular rooms were smaller than average except for the suites. Definitely in need of some TLC and updating to be on par with other casino properties. Pool area is adequate but not extensive, needs to be cleaned and maintained better. Overall, there is Nothing exciting about this casino as it's in need of renovation and expansion. The layout is not enticing as the grand entrance in Beau Rivage, which makes you feel like royalty. Here its as if the casino was an afterthought. Steak and shake is inside the casino floor, why? Gambling is just as it says, restaurants don't belong inside gaming area when they could use more square footage for new table games and slots.
