Bally's Black Hawk West — Attraction in Black Hawk

24 May 23: I went to play in their 10 am Poker Tournament and was turned away because I did not have, nor want, a Players Card. I am a casual player. I see no reason to give any organization information about me that they do not need simply because they want it.

I was under the impression that the casino's intent was to invite customers into their gaming environment, present that customer with an enjoyable atmosphere and cater to the customer's needs. I guess at Ballys it is the opposite, they want you, the customer, to cater to their needs/wants.

Needless to say as I am not welcome there because I do not want their card/membership, I will not go there...

If I am not welcome throughout the casino, I am not welcome anywhere...

I came here with three of my buddies to play some craps. I have been to 20+ casinos and have never met a craps table crew anywhere near as rude as the crew was here. The four of us were looking to play about 4 or 5 hours of craps, but when Pannee started being rude to two of my friends when they didnt say please or didnt properly place their money on the come when betting, I pulled my bets and left. Will never return to this casino. The funniest part of it all is when I called her out for being insanely rude, the other dealer said its craps... very unprofessional staff at a decent limit level casino. I've been to casinos that are rock bottom limits with staff...

I lived in Las Vegas for 20 years and worked in the service industry so I may have too high of standards? This casino was old, service, lack of rather, was poor. Machines are old and the limits for blackjack were ridiculous. I dropped $100 bucks in a poker machine at the bar in 10 minutes, asked for another drink and was told there was a ticker and I could only have 1 every 30 minutes. Steak house restaurant had good service, the steak was delicious but we could only get 1/2 a baked potato with everything on it, no other options offered, it was greasy and gross. I think they should skip sides all together and just serve steak. Or save your $250 and...
