Bloomington Commons — Attraction in Bloomington

JoAnn Fabrics is our most oftened visited shop in this strip. Schnucks used to be our regular grocery, and it's still a good store, but we don't get there as often any more...mostly because the entrance into the main lot has been broken down and rough for years and years. The side road entrance is narrow and the traffic heavier than the road/entrance needs, or vice versa.

Also the shoe stores in this strip don't advertise as much as they used to, so it seems like they never stay in business there for long. And Chucky Cheese has just enough foot traffic to drive the customers coming in or out, for any other business, a bit nuts.

There are a lot of businesses around this area that we've never been to, mostly because the hazards of getting in and out of the parking lots is off-putting. Every now and then I think it would be nice to stop at some of them, but then the lot entrances and surfaces, and narrowness, make me...

The parking is very large, but once you get to the top sign to the other shipping stores that is where it gets confusing. Cars do not signal and just go about there day. The roads do not match up and you are driving around guessing you are on the right side. The stores are nice. Great selection from Indian grocery, fresh market, Italian food, sushi, dairy queen, Starbucks, Krispy creme , and Sherwin Williams and Cora hair salon. A truly one stop shopping area for...

We normally love this place. But we went on a Saturday early evening, it was not busy. It was 3:30, and my streak and my husband's steak were not done correctly. I wanted Medium well and my husband's was suppose to be medium. Both of ours were very rare.
