Dunn Meadow — Attraction in Bloomington

Pretty good field, as fields go. Fairly flat, mowed regularly... if you're looking for a pretty decent field to cavort in or gambol about, putting your cares aside, you could do worse. Occasionally taken over by bad kids who make you feel nervous and self-conscious, at which point I suggest ducking into the nearby Memorial Union and taking refuge in a restroom...

A beautiful open space with a tiny trickling stream flowing through the middle. Open to public to come hangout. IU and other organisations hold events here sometimes and you can find students and public setting up picnic, playing small group games, setting up hammock and do so much more here...
