The walkways are a little narrow and if someone is browsing it is hard to pass round so at busy times it will feel much busier than it probably is. When I visited, not everything was in stock size wise, only the smallest and largest seemed to be available for the most popular items. This was straight after spring break. The store does allow you to order online and pick up in store to avoid disappointment with a dedicated counter on the top floor. Plenty of signage to find the bookstore and restrooms...

There is an elevator to get between floors in the bookstore, but many of the staff will tell you there isn't, it's often hidden behind displays in the store, and you need a manager to work the elevator for you. There also weren't any carts that I saw, so if you have trouble carrying things in your arms, you're SOL. The line to pay often extends all the way through the store, sometimes even going up stairs, so again, disabled students beware. I gave up on the bookstore after my first semester at IU & just accepted that I would have to pay for shipping for getting all my books online – always nice to be charged extra fees just for being...

I read other reviews and thought maybe it would be okay but it took two weeks for my order to arrive to the bookstore even though it was only supposed to take 3 days. And then even though fedex tracking said my order was delivered on a Wednesday, by Saturday they still couldn’t put my order together because they never sorted their truck. I know times are hard with staffing and supply chain issues so I am trying to be patient and flexible but I will never buy things from the IU...
