Extremely unsatisfactory computer repair experience. They lied to me about performing a BIOS update for CPU and motherboard compatibility like I originally asked for. Instead, they talked me into a $50 non-refundable benchmark investigation, had my tower for four days, and told me my desktop's failure to boot was due to my CPU. Then they proceeded to try to sell me a new $375 CPU. I declined and, after their assurance that the BIOS version was correct, bought a second similar CPU elsewhere. Which did not fix my computer's issue of not booting. When I again called and told them the issue was not the CPU and I still suspect the BIOS version, the tech, Luis, spoke to me as if I had no clue what I was talking about and told me it would be an additional three days for him to "borrow his friend's CPU" to double-check the version "if you really want to do that."

I instead took my computer to The Computer Clinic and watched as the tech there fixed it in ten minutes by, surprise, updating my BIOS with a shop-owned CPU to the correct version (as it was not updated by CPR even though they told me they did so). Now, both my original CPU (the one they wanted to replace) and the second unnecessary one I purchased both 'magically' work with my computer. I had taken my phone to UBreakIFix for a simple screen repair. To which UBreakIFix had put me through the ringer for doing so. It took a full week just for UBreakIFix to tell me they could not fix my phone due to their Samsung policy. I than turned around and took my phone here to CPR Cellphone Repair by the public library and after they looked at my phone they fixed it within the same day! Just taking a couple hours and with a better deal then UBreakIFix quoted me for. Simply put if I was to take my phone anywhere to get it fixed again and hopefully I don't have to I'd take my phone here to CPR Cellphone Repair! They have gained a loyal customer and they have hired an amazing staff as well. The one who looks like Andrew Tate was the one that fixed my phone and he is really knowledgeable and humble! I would recommend a promotion for him and for anyone's phone to get fixed by him! I am glad he was the phone who handled my phone and fixed it.
