Incredible gym, 24/7, quiet, clean, you can always get the machine you want. Jordan has been very thoughtful about the machines he has chosen, the lay out of the space. I work full time and I have 2 young children so the only time I am able to go is in the evenings. I feel safe there (am female) and look forward to my work outs. I was very obese when I started and in the past several months, I have lost a lot of weight due to making better choices, learning about my food triggers, keeping rules in regards to food and working out 3-4 days/week. I don't do anything extreme-- I walk for an hour, lift light weights and stretch. All types of people in varying stages of health go to Train and all ages. There is never more than 2 or three people in there at any time when I go in the evenings. Everyone is respectful. If you want a "concierge gym" experience, Train is for you. I could never make the limited hours of the Y, I didn't want to be around people who are gym addicts. Wanted a comfortable space where a woman like me, in her 40s, could work out without ever needing to worry, never having to wait for a machine, never having to feel self conscious. Sometimes, I have gone as late at 930pm because that's the only time I had that day. Jordan is also EXCELLENT as a personal trainer if you want to go that route. I highly recommend Train. It's been a game changer for me. I also recommend the book "The End of Overeating" by...
Read moreFantastic facility! Always kept clean and organized. Jordan truly cares about his clients and providing the best gym possible for them and addresses any concerns promptly and professionally.
It feels surprisingly spacious for its size, and the equipment is great quality (Rogue bars and weights, sturdy benches, a lot of medicine balls and resistance bands, etc.) The equipment isn't entirely suited for powerlifters specifically, but with cables, dumbbells/kettlebells, a squat rack and Smith machine, a couple other weight machines, and several cardio machines, there is full coverage for successful workouts that don't feel repetitive.
Sometimes it can get very busy in the middle of the day, but just learn what time works best for you. It's 24 hrs, so use it! He does cap memberships at a certain capacity to ensure that even at its busiest times it's not overwhelming. Only reason I left was due to moving out of the city; otherwise would have stayed for...
Read moreYou really have to visit Train to understand why my review won’t do it justice. And if you visit, drop by when you’re most likely to go to the gym; just don’t be surprised if you have the place all to yourself. But that only begins to explain the difference between this concept and other places.
Train combines everything I hope to find in a fitness center with a few extra-nice surprises.
Picture a gym where every detail is thoughtfully considered and perfectly maintained: from the functional layout to the fully-equipped line of machines, free weights, and gear to support most every workout level. Now imagine you’re invited to an exclusive area in that gym—friends and employees only—where amenities (bottled water, towels, your personal music playing on the speakers, etc.) are provided at no extra charge, This place is special.
I get.more out of my workout at Train than I would anywhere else. Just as importantly, the atmosphere...
