I have been coming to US Nails for years and have always received quality customer service. Today, the nail tech misunderstood how I wanted my nails. When I noticed what she was doing, I immediately said something in a nice manner. She was doing ombré and placed the darker color on the top/tip. I explained to her that the green was first (she thought I wanted the darker color on the top as first meant tip to her). I was okay with the misunderstanding, as I understood there was a misunderstanding due to the language barrier and terminology. She usually does a wonderful job, therefore, I wasn’t watching her as she worked. However, as soon as I noticed, I said something. My long time nail tech asked me to keep it as it was and got upset because I did not agree to keep my nails as they were.
She then went outside and got the owner, at which time the owner came and we discussed what occurred and proceeded to soak the dip off. I was saddened when the owner said her nail technician always tells the truth. I explained that I felt like she was calling me a liar, and stated, I agree there was a misunderstanding and that I was not upset.
After washing my hands, I sat down for my nails to be done by the owner or the nail tech, preferably my nail tech. The owner came back after talking to the technician and told me they could not complete my nails because her nail technician was upset. Sadly, the owner, Hope, did not take ownership. She said they were tired and couldn’t do my nails and made excuses for the nail tech. She said, “She did not want to do my nails because she was tired and hadn’t eaten all day.” I explained that their actions do not depict quality customer service and are unacceptable, as I was not upset - mistakes happen.
I am beyond disappointed about how the matter was handled. I asked that someone finish my nails because I was leaving at 3 AM to go out of state. They refused because, “we have been working all day”. If I wasn’t going out of town, I would have returned the next day. Sadly, I will not be returning to this establishment after many years of quality service. I am truly disheartened with the choice the owner made to not serve me - a long term customer. Therefore, I leave this review and trust no one else will be...
Read moreMixed review. I made a pedicure appt as a gift for my elderly friend a week in advance, for Thurs Aug 25 10:30 am. Our first time at this salon, chosen based on favorable online reviews. Pros: salon appeared clean, was easy to find, the quality of the pedicure seems good & it was inexpensive ($28) Cons: We had to wait 30 minutes past our appt time. (They seemed surprised we had an appt.)No one showed us where the polishes were or which were gel vs regular. No one asked what services we wanted. The nail tech never gave us her name (the other lady who appeared to be in charge called her Mary) or smiled, spoke or acknowledged us in any way. After she finished she never came back to check & see if the polish was dry or tell us it was ok to leave or tell us how to pay. So it was cheap, clean & competent overall but not the relaxing, friendly spa experience I’d hoped to treat...
Read moreMy first experience at this salon was outstanding. We came based on a regular customers recommendation. The salon is bright, clean, and very welcoming. They use brand new sealed products when giving pedicures and change out the covers in the bowls after each service.
The owner was very friendly and honest up front with the wait time. She fit us in despite their busy schedule, allowing me and my party time to choose our nail colors.
They offered us drinks and were very friendly, permitting us to sit near our family members having other services.
Brian is very funny! He provided attentive, professional service, carefully crafting my nails. He fixed them and made them look far better than I expected. The dip on my nails is thin and not bulky, and my toenails are perfectly polished to match my nails.
I am thrilled with the outcome and look forward to...
