Bonita Fairways Golf Club — Attraction in Bonita Springs

This is my home course I live on this course this course is an amazing executive course are community Invested a lot of money make are greens pure to the people who said course was terrible I’m sorry you experienced that there are some months the greens are in recovery and the course could be bad but on a good day we keep the greens very well maintained on top of that staff is very nice and knowledgeable there’s only one problem I have with this course several times me playing here and I play here a lot my back yard is hole 10 im very upset of the lack of respect the gardeners have for golfers I’ll be teeing off and he won’t stop come right behind me cutting grass on separate occasions I had the mowers following me from hole to hole when I went and try to tell somebody in office his response was well they gotta do there job it’s not like your a Professional that really bothered me specially the course is so expensive now we shouldn’t have to deal with that other than that this...

We were a 4 some and it took almost 3 hours to finish 9 holes. The 3 some in front of us took over 10 minutes to finish one hole because they all had their ball retrievers out fishing for balls…while we sat there and looked at them. Then on number 9 hole, they had their retrievers out again to the right of the lake. So I hit my ball on the green. They finally got to the green and the lady hit her ball and then went up and putted MY ball and then put MY ball in her pocket. STOLEN ProV1. We called for a ranger to help speed things up, but he just sat there and then left. Your reputation, as I understand it, says that your rangers NEVER speak to people about keeping up with the group in front. We spoke to Roy at the turn and he as very nice and told us to go ahead of the group that was in front of us. We did and finished the back nine in less than an hour and a half. We enjoyed the Course, but an almost 3 hour 9 hole is absolutely unacceptable. Our opinions. Thank you....

Always enjoy Bonita Fairways golf course. Public courses are few and far between in the Ft Myers/NAPLES area. Most of the courses are members only. Bonita Fairways is one of the few. Played there a number of times over the last couple of years. An eighteen hole short course, all holes are three and four pars, the fairways and greens are always in good shape for a public course. Great for working on your short game and just having fun. The course offers several holes with water and well placed sand traps,as well as a few hills to still make it a little challenging. I will say that they have the shortest par three that I've ever played, I think it's only 90 yards. That being said, if you a long bomber , you may not like this course. Also, it can get a little crowded, so pack your patience. Still, green and cart fees are very reasonable. So if your looking for a public course in the Ft Myers/NAPLES area give Bonita Fairways a try, this just might become a...
