This is the best Chinese joint ever. I've ordered from here probably a few hundred times when I was living in Bonita springs. Since I moved away 2 years ago I have not been able to find a Chinese restaurant that could even come close to paralleling the quality that comes out of this place. Coconut Shrimp is my favorite. Bourbon Chicken is also darn good and not heavy in sugar like you will find in American malls. Their fried rice has the special taste that you can really tell they fried it in their wok to perfection. I know some people are reading this and saying it's probably just a average Chinese joint but for sure it's not. I can only remember once that my order was wrong and I picked up either someone else's order or I possibly even ordered the wrong dish. My lady got her usual garlic chicken or general chicken and there was a noodle dish in the order. We ended up taking the food elsewhere but I called and let them know so they could possibly correct someone else's order before somebody picked it up and just ate what I had because we were in fort Myers at this point. it's my surprise the needle dish was freaking excellent, so the mistake was whatever to me. That and one mishap out of over a hundred food orders is hella solid in my opinion.
Everytime I come back to visit I get your food. Can't rave enough about it.
Since I live 2000 miles away now and even though I have very good Asian cuisine in my area I still cannot find a joint that can match the quality of china town for OG Chinese dishes like sesame chicken, general, chicken/beef & broccoli, fried rice, etc.
Please email me the coconut shrimp recipe. I will keep the recipe safe and guard it with my life and even pay you for it. I pledge to not give it to anyone either. Or you can come to Denver and teach me how to make it. I have a AirBnB and your stay with us would be free. This is a real offer lol.
Your biggest fan, Mathew
P.S. writing this review stems from me searching yet again the greater Denver Colorado area in search of coconut Shrimp entree like yours. 2 years into the search I'm convinced it does not exist here. If you opened a restaurant in any Denver suburb you would make a killing....
Read moreFood and service were "OK". I noticed a "processing fee" of 4% - not sure what for though because it applied whether you selected the cash or credit card option when ordering online. This is the 2nd restaurant I've noticed where they added a fee for doing business with them (the other one was a fee for ordering at the takeout counter!).
I strongly believe that a takeout restaurant should build the cost of ordering food online (assuming that is what it was) into their prices, not charging an additional fee on top of the menu prices. Although the food was acceptable, on principle alone, I will think twice about going back - I don't like being required to pay a takeout restaurant a fee to order takeout!! Frankly, this is taking...
Read moreI’ve been going to Chinatown for ages because their food is just that good. It’s always my top pick when I’m in the mood for some tasty Chinese dishes. So, when I heard they were adding seafood boil to the menu, I was super excited! I tried it as soon as it came out, and wow, it was amazing! The seafood was fresh and the seasoning was spot on. If you love seafood boil like I do, you’ve got to check it out. Chinatown has really nailed it with this new addition. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, definitely give the seafood boil a shot. You’ll love it! I recommend the yummi...
