went here to get manis with friends for a wedding. i just wanted gel polish, no acrylics, and that was the wrong choice. those i came with got acrylics and their nails looked amazing - probably because we had called ahead and said we were a bridal party. the technician trimmed my cuticles way too far and cut no less than four of my fingers. i took these pictures 3 full days after getting them done and some still have not healed. plus the polish is incredibly sloppy, i had to finish shaping them bc the tech missed the sides of a couple nails, and the matte top coat i asked for is spotty and missing in some places. i could have done a better job myself, at home, for free. sucks that i spent money for this manicure - my friends' acrylic nails all looked amazing, especially the bride, but she also complained that it was painful for a day or so after getting them done. lastly, the employees were not happy when some of us didn't want pedicures with our manicures, and ignored me at least twice before finally ringing me up so i could leave. later i heard from the bride and maid of honor that their pedis hurt and took two full hours. the wedding weekend was fun, but im never coming back to this place. edit after the business responded: the tech did not inform me about the top coat "not looking good" with the color i selected. he specifically said to me when i asked for it "anything you want!", which he repeated any time my friends and i asked for a specific design or type of nail. im not local to boone, so i won't be returning to get it fixed. good luck on future communication issues though!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I went in for a fill in, new polish, and replacement of two broken nails and it was $86. This is the MOST I have EVER paid for any kind of nails and I am so upset. First, two of my nails were pretty badly broken, but they did not hurt and did not affect the nail bed until I went to go get them done. The nail tech took what looked like a kitchen knife to my nail bed and broke the nail underneath, digging into the sensitive skin under my nail. When I winced in pain I was told to “calm down” not exactly want you want to hear when you’re in pain. Next, when the new acrylic was applied there was little to no time to let them dry before adding the powder and applying the polish. When this was happening the services were rushed, sloppy, and unprofessional, I’m talking powder caked all on the side of my nails that— on my own time— I pried off and gel polish all over my nails and on my skin. During the whole curing of the gel my hands were maybe under the UV light for 20 seconds, I doubt this was enough time. Additionally, when using the automated file the technician touched my skin with it several times, now and at the time it is scabbing and bleeding still. Lastly, as if the price and the actual quality were absurd I didn’t even get what I paid for. I didn’t even get the fill in like I had asked and paid for. I hate to leave reviews like this, but I don’t want anyone to waste their time and money on services like this.

DO NOT DO IT! I am infuriated. I was in town for the day and needed a fill on my acrylics and chose this place based on reviews. I came in with a shape I really loved (almond) that was previously done very well by a different salon. The guy helping me kept shaking his head and rolling his eyes anytime anybody new came in while doing my nails. He took my color off and grinded so carelessly that he cut my pinky to the point of bleeding and cut all my other fingers too. Removed all my natural nail underneath the acrylic without telling me or asking and stabbed me with the drill and just said, oops.. and kept going. Then proceeded to very clearly I’m a rush, carelessly, and aggressively file my nails. He WRECKED the almond shape. They are uneven, jagged, and cut into my thumb nail. Another lady did a terrible paint job that looks gloppy. My nails and cuticles HURT, I’m bleeding, my jagged nails are catching, and the color looks terrible. I’m extremely upset and also nervous I’m going to get an infection from the carelessness of the drilling. If you care about your nails avoid this place.

Went here to get my eyebrows done for my maternity pictures since I have gotten them done here before and had a good experience but the woman today did a terrible job and didn’t even try to fix it. I didn’t get her name but she did not shape or even out my eyebrows she left them completely uneven and with long hairs one was much higher than the other. After she showed me them in the mirror the first time I asked her if she could fix them because they didn’t look the same at all and she just plucked a couple hairs basically did nothing and showed me in the mirror again and so I just gave up after that and paid and left. Waste of money and time and now I need to go somewhere else to get my eyebrows fixed for my special pictures. Very disappointing considering I’ve been here a few times before for mani pedis and had my eyebrows done here before and liked them. Seems like they just let anybody that works there do eyebrows even if they don’t know what they’re doing. I could have messed my eyebrows up at home for free. I went somewhere to get them done professionally for a special occasion and left visibly upset this place sucks. This was on Saturday 3/11/23 around 5:45-6pm hoping the owner does something about the woman who should not be allowed to touch...
