Dropped my phone in water and a green line appeared so I took my phone in here. $300 later and I had a new screen. A month later, dropped my phone and the line appeared again but bigger. Then after a few days it covered half of the screen. Came back and was talked to (very condescendingly) and was told because I dropped it, the warranty was 25% off. Asked if there was a bigger issue in the phone and was told no. Paid $250 for another screen and a phone case. ONE WEEK LATER I dropped my phone from 2 feet up on carpet and my entire screen was messed up. No cracks but the screen was covered by white lines. I went back and talked to the same guy (redhead, not very sympathetic or nice). Told me it was on me because I dropped it. I made the argument that something else is clearly wrong with the phone because if anybody drops their phone it will not mess up this bad. After a bit of arguing that if my phone was fixed right the first two times, a simple two foot drop would not mess up the entire screen. They agreed to fix it for free which was nice. However, that was one week ago and my phone is already back to how it was the first three times. $550 and three trips to this store and I still had to end up buying an entirely new phone. Honestly if the guy would’ve been nicer to me I wouldn’t be so annoyed over the situation but he made me feel like crap about myself for dropping my phone. All other employees I’ve interacted with have been incredibly nice, I guess I just got the short end of the stick. Don’t go here to get a water damaged screen replaced unless you want to make three trips there and spend $550 when you’re just gonna have to buy a new...
Read moreDo you love Apple products, but would like to (or NEED to) get the most out of your budget? Do you have a MacBook, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Mac Desktop or wish to obtain one or any accessories or storage solutions? Look no further than AppleJuice in Boone and Mooresville, NC. They repair and consult but also sell products for a fantastic value at a fraction of the standard MSRP. They have been around and thriving since 2012 and are here for you. On a personal note: today the CEO, Jeremiah, struck up a conversation with me while getting coffee about a set of books I had at my table (I'm a professor) and after a long conversation about reading when he personally assessed me with my MacBook and iPhone questions without announcing his connection with AppleJuice and without treating me as a customer but a person, offering his time for conversation and advice. He could have left in a rush but, instead, treated me as a priority to no benefit of his own. His character is an example of the business and experience that is AppleJuice iRepairs. I have previously been to AppleJuice and can say this is the place for anyone with Apple products (or are interested in learning more), and they will take care of you as a people-first oriented business. Highly...
Read moreMy phone completely crashed earlier this week leaving all my photos, contacts, etc inaccessible, not to mention the complete inability to communicate for work or with friends. After an hour with apple support, contacting all the local Apple repair locations to find out they had a 2 week appointment wait time, doing every suggested online trick and taking it to my provider who couldn’t help because the phone wouldn’t actually reboot, my provider suggested Apple Juice in Boone, and I’m so thankful! I was able to walk in and receive immediate service with no appointment needed. Jordan, the associate working, was very friendly, knowledgeable and reassuring. He told me every step before he did it and after a few swaps of components, he was able to get it to boot and back it up. After 3 days of no access and the fear of losing years of photos because they weren’t backed up, he made my week in about 30 minutes!!! I have recommended them to everyone I know, and will continue to do so. The fees were reasonable and are displayed, plus he told me the possible charges before getting started, so there are no surprises. I hope I don’t have another unit go down, but if I do, Apple Juice is...
