My first time at Bay state I had a rotor cuff tear and we worked on strengthening muscles around it and I have not had any problems. This time I am having problems with my knee and we are working on strengthening the muscle controlling that and I have confidence this will work. Now I am doing pre-hab on the knee to strength it before I have it replaced and will do my re-hab at Bay state

Its the Physical Therapists that make this place great! PT really can be a game changer when matched with the right person. Love the way they conduct their sessions. Easy to make and change appointments around life. There is on street parking, or just two blocks away a small parking lot with free 2 hour parking.

I choose Bay State physical therapy in South Boston, and it was one of the better decisions I have made . I have been treated there during three different intervals, and all have been truly fantastic. I was lucky enough to have been assigned to Jillian O’Connell, who is a true master of the craft of rehabilitation.

After having went through two hip replacements, I began treatment at Bay State and the recovery results have been incredible . The program put together is a well thought out process with amazing results . I went from unable to walk, and now can actually run. Having played competitive sports through college, and after, it is unreal to see the results that have transpired. Before coming to Bay State walking was the goal, having never envisioned actually running .

The second script for Bay State was related to a lower back and hip flexor strain . Again was Jillian O’Connell to save the day . The hip flexor strain , which was a four month lingering pain, is now 100 percent . The lower back pain is constantly improving. The program prescribed is organized with a purpose, and results again are appreciated and...

I can honestly say Bay State PT changed my life. I severely sprained my ankle 16 weeks before I was supposed to run a marathon. My mother (a retired PT) insisted I ask for a PT referral to help my recovery so I could safely return to running and ideally build up to long distances. Enter Bay State PT. Upon my first visit in my walking boot, I immediately felt like a family member to my PT, Justine. She answered all of my questions, connecting with me as a person and as a patient, led me through every exercise, and created personalized programming to do at home to guide me through recovery. The environment in the clinic is so happy, positive, and encouraging. I looked forward to every appointment. I could not recommend the Bay State South Boston clinic more. Justine, Kelsey, and Anders are all so friendly and empowering and I enjoyed feeling my own progress and celebrating with others as they "graduated" from PT. I wish I could keep going back each week. Endless thanks to Justine and the team at Bay State PT for all you did for me. 16 weeks post-injury I was able to run...

Fate intervened one snowy day in the mountains of Colorado as a ski season filled with promises was abruptly cut short by one wrong turn and one ill-fated powder patch. Shortly after, I arrived to Bay State PT with a knee injury where I found myself in the very capable hands of Jill.

Jill worked diligently with me for 15 weeks, addressing all of my inquires and establishing a genuine connection with me both as a patient and an individual. She took the time to ask about my goals and tailored a personalized program that not only challenged me but also pushed me towards achieving those goals. After 15 weeks of hard work and patience, I was able to get full function of my knee back. Thanks, Jill!

The atmosphere of the clinic radiates positivity thanks to the AWESOME staff there who are all exceptionally friendly. Their welcoming demeanor made me look forward to every appointment, all of which were enjoyable experiences. Without any hesitation I would highly recommend Jill and the entire staff at Bay State to anyone looking for a Physical Therapist in the South...
