PS Gourmet Coffee — Restaurant in Boston

Simply the best coffee around! The service is also fabulous! It's authentic "southie"(now Dorchester and Roslindale) coffee shop! An overwhelming combination of brewed (not syrup) coffees with incredible flavor. The slices of coffee cake (bananas my favorite) brownies, muffins... bagel sandwiches add the perfect compliment to the "home of the bucket"drink dujour (Annie's banana split is my pick) and scratch tickets too! The staff are fabulous and go the extra mile to learn each repeat customers preferences. It's the "cheers" of coffee shops. But, don't go here if you want "designer" brews, slow roasted, long roasted, basically burnt, over priced bitter sips of the true coffee connoisseur (if that's how you identify yourselves). It's not Starbucks or dunks it's definitely craveworthy. I personally choose to drive the 64 mile round trip for "good"coffee on the weekends! And now that they accept credit cards, the $10 minimum is reasonable (I prefer the per cup price stay down) I achieve it easily with one for the road, one to relax with and one for morning... PS Gourmet is not for everyone but for most, but to say it's awful as some reviews have is just a window in to the ignorance and poor pallet of...

I’ve been going here since 2010 and PS gourmet coffee HAS GOT TO BE BY FAR MY FAVORITE COFFEE PLACE EVER.

IT IS VERY SIMPLE. THEY HAVE 1 MILLION VARIETIES OF ICE AND HOT COFFEE.

I GET THE BANANA ALL THE TIME BECAUSE I LOVE BANANA, BUT LITERALLY YOU CAN GET ANY FLAVOR ICED AND HOT

THEY WILL MELT THE SUGAR FOR YOU AND THEIR TWO SISTERS THAT WORKED OUT FOREVER AND A LATINA GIRL ONE OF THE SISTERS IS WICKED FRIENDLY. THE OTHER ONE IS VERY SERIOUS, BUT THEY’RE BOTH WORK VERY HARD AND THE LATINA GIRL WORKS VERY HARD TOO.

I LOVE THIS PLACE AND IF YOU WANT A SANDWICH, I GET A BACON EGG AND CHEESE CRISPY TOASTED ON ENGLISH MUFFIN AND IT’S REALLY GOOD. THEY MAKE IT FRESH FOR YOU.

I've been to their Roslindale location and the coffee is AMAZING. This Dorchester Street location, however, is beyond awful. The coffee is the same, but I cannot say one positive thing about the staff. The staff here is so rude and unprofessional, it's embarrassing to even interact with people who are such uncouth and disgusting. At 6am on a Saturday, when nobody else was in the store, I was told that they would make an exception for me to scoop my bagel out even though they normally can't do it on weekends because it's too busy. My brother was laughed at for asking for a little bit of mocha in his iced coffee and they spent the bulk of their time rolling their eyes and whispering about us. They literally acted like they were doing us a favor by allowing us to purchase something from them....
