Donna Franca Tours — Attraction in Boston

Donna Franca made my dream vacation come to life. My boyfriend and I traveled to Rome, Florence and Venice. Donna Franca put us in amazing hotels, including one in Rome with our own private Roman bath out on the balcony. The views from our hotel in Florence was unbelievable, and there was a roof bar that was open 24/7. All the hotel locations were very central, and we were able to walk everywhere. We even had free champagne in each room upon arriving.

Donna Franca also made transfers very easy. Neither my boyfriend nor I speak or read any Italian so it was comforting knowing that we would have someone helping us get where we needed to go. Every time we had to get on or off a train or bus, there was a representative there holding a sign with our names to let us know where to go. There was also someone at the airport as soon as we got there to bring s to our hotel.

Donna Franca tours scheduled excursions to Pompeii, the Vatican, the coliseum and an island in Venice that specializes in glass blowing. We had skip the line passes to each of these famous sites. Donna Franca gave us a perfect itinerary that allowed us to see everything that we wanted to see, while still being able to explore the cities on our own.

All in all it was the trip of a lifetime, and I would highly recommend Donna Franca tours. We will definitely be using them again,...

Cindy and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with a 15 day trip to Italy, (including Sicily) arranged through Donna Franca Tours and our travel agent Erika Swerling.

From start to finish, it was the most enjoyable trip that we have ever had. This was our second trip to Italy. Our initial trip about 17 years ago was wonderful as we saw Venice, Milan, Florence, Pisa and Rome. This time our arranged trip included Venice and Rome again but also other parts of Italy and an additional 6 days in Sicily. The time in mainland Italy was over the top but the 6 days in Sicily, especially with our private driver ("guide" and newfound friend) Marco Valenzia, was so wonderful that it is difficult to describe in words. Sicily is beautiful and, of course, the Italian people are so very wonderful.

Since returning home, Cindy and I have said to each other several times....."Wow, what a trip!". We cannot wait to schedule our next trip and Sicily will be included in whatever we do.

Donna Franca Tours set up our travel in three areas of Italy. The travel included train tickets, pick up and delivery to airport and customized tours with exceptional guides. An anthropologist who works in the ruins of Pompeii provided the history and story of the area. A guided walking tour of Florence and a Italian cooking experience were part of seeing that city. We experienced an outstanding trip to a winery outside of Florence for wine tasting and a wine pairing dinner on our last night in the area.

An amazing guide for a 7:00 breakfast tour of the Vatican and the Cistine Chapel and St. Peters Cathedral were highlights of our stay in Rome. The day trip to Capri could have been explained better as we did not know we would need to pay an additional fee to get a boat ride around the island until we actually got to Capri.
