My friends & I showed up here on a whim before an event at Fenway. We were instantly greeted with kindness by the staff. We struggled with the extensive & impressive beer selection, the bartender (Dave) kindly walked out from behind the bar to our high top table to help us with our choice. Dave was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and more than accommodating. The rush came in shortly after & a new staff member started her shift (Connie). Connie promptly greeted our table & went above & beyond to guarantee we had a positive experience. I don’t take the time to write these kind of reviews as much as I should but I felt inclined to do so for this bar / restaurant. So very disappointed. Attempted to go here after a baseball game on a Wednesday night. Arrived at 10:30pm to be told that after 8pm no one under 19 is allowed in. Our party consisted of my husband and I and our 15 year old son. We were told that “they were afraid we would let our son drink and that the bartenders weren’t there to babysit us.” Wait, what? Why would I order alcohol for my 15 year old? I even suggested that none of us would drink, but that wasn’t good enough. No where on their website do they mention this ridiculous rule, and we were just shocked. After hearing such great things about this place we will NEVER return, with or without a minor.
