Cafe 472 — Restaurant in Boston

I have never had an issue with this restaurant before until today and I have been ordering here for over a year now. One of the Frozen Yogurts was not to the taste of my expectations, it had no mango flavor or marshmellow flavor. It tasted like absolutely nothing and when I called to explain my frustration I was given an EXTREMELY rude attitude. Whoever answered the phone was not trying to appease the customer in any way as all restuarants should. His only excuse was because of the fact that he made it and knows what is in it. There were also things that were not on the menu that I asked for and I was just given what they felt was the next best thing or what they felt was equal to what I ordered without them informing me of the change. That move was very dangerous in itself considering all items used are made with different ingredients and I could have been allergic to something as simple as this change. This man who answered the phone was very unprofessional and had no customer service excellence what so ever. He made my experience with the restaurant unforgettable in the worst way and I am not sure if I feel comfortable ever ordering from here considering how rude the service was. All the delivery drivers are always so amazing but the service behind the phone call that took place today was one of the worst that I have ever experienced in my life. A simple apology and/or remake of the order what have sufficed nicely. I will continue to share my experience throughout all of MIT so no one is ever made to feel as low as I did after...

We are in Boston from Utah for my daughter to have surgery at Boston Children's hospital. I have ordered from this place probably 10 times in the last 3 weeks. I have never been treated so badly in my life as I was today. I wanted an Italian sub. Half with everything but pickles and the other half with no pickles or onions for my daughter, not so hard right? I have ordered it this was many times with no problems. Today the lady hung up on me while I was kindly trying to order. I called back and said did you just hang up on me when i was just trying to order? She said yes I don't know how to make your sandwich. I said I am trying to explain and she hung up on me again. I called back and said is this really how you treat your customers? You hang up on them? I am here with my daughter for children hospital and have ordered this many times in the past three weeks. I would like to speak to your boss please. She said call back in an hour and hung up on me once more. I was not raising my voice at all, I was simply trying to order food and explain what I wanted. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. I have been telling so many people how good the food is. The customer service is horrible. I have never been hung up on not only once but 3 times. My daughter was in the room with me, so I was trying to be polite and keep my cool. So sad that they treat...

A common theme for anyone giving this place a poor rating is the delivery experience - Nothing to do with the quality of the food or the commitment of its proud owners. Shame on you - For letting a delivery driver's mistakes affect your judgement of a terrific establishment.

Give this place a try, show up in person, and enjoy what it has to offer.

This is the single best, most reliable sandwich and pizza cafe I have ever been to - It is a Fenway staple and something our neighborhood should be proud of.

Incredible pizza with homemade dough, wonderful sandwiches of all types and flavors, with a frozen yogurt on the level of a JP Licks/Matcha Maiko.

This is a place where you can get varied dishes for every pallet or mood, and walk way impressed. Solid, reliable, limited wait and no reservations just great inexpensive food at the drop of a hat.

I've been a resident of Fenway for nearly a decade, and this is among my favorite establishments not only in this neighborhood but of my travels anywhere, period.

I do not write reviews, I do not care about reviews, I do not value reviews, but this place is criminally underrated - I support their business - and find 3.9 stars to be an absolute farce. I hope it does not hurt their business.
