Mattapan Square — Attraction in Boston

When I was down in mattapan square the other day with my neighbour A lot of memories came flooding back to me for when my grandmother owned a house around the corner on river street good memories the local people Where very polite memories I can clearly see they are trying to revitalise mattapan square keep up the good work I will be coming back there is a restaurant there in mattapan square is called brothers I have been told so much about that restaurant I will be going in there and try and their food They are highway recommended by my friends Have a good day stay safe...

There are things to do in Mattapan Square shopping wise phone store grocery store food places a dollar store Duncan's a bank CVS hair supply store. There's a police station right next to it. There is Mattapan station a Burger King AFB. Not the best place to just be hanging around a lot of activity. A lot of people just hang around outside the shops. If you're trying to just get things done, go fast because people will try to stop and talk to you even if they don't know you for whatever...

Generally safe during the day. Not the nicest area. There are about 3 Bodegas, Barber Shops, and hair/ beauty stores (for wigs, weaves ect.) There are a lot of drunk people out on the street because there is a liquor store as well as many people panhandling, at times to the point of harassment. Just make sure to keep all valuables out of sight and /or secure both on person or in vehicle. I would not recommend walking around at night if you are unfamiliar...
