My wife and I landed in Boston Logan with a 9 hour layover, so naturally we decided the USO would be the best place to get some sleep before our international flight. Upon arriving, we were denied entrance because we did not have one of the color ID cards (I was recently medically discharged). I presented my expired military ID, state veteran ID, Disabled Veteran VA ID, etc. None of that mattered to the individual in charge (also a Veteran) and thus, my wife is now forced to sleep on the floor for the next 9 hours in the terminal. To make matters worse, there was no one in the USO that we could see from the front...what happened to Veterans taking care of Veterans? I would give this USO 0 stars if it...
Read moreI love USO - only 1-star because this Boston Airport USO needs to accurately advertise their availability. I have flown through Boston 5 times in the past two years and EVERY time they have been closed within their regular advertised hours (arrived between 12-5 pm each time) with a sign claiming a special issue. It appears others commonly have this issue, so I’m not sure when this USO is open.
