Edit: 6/29/2025: **This park is not safe for pedestrians or animals because there are cars driving on the grassy areas of the park.** DCR needs to police and close the gates to this park. More people today driving cars on the grassy areas of the park. If DCR and the state police don't care, they need to hand control of these parks back to the city of Boston. The state doesn't care and they should be embarrassed at the the state of the small DCR parks in the city of Boston. Edit 11/2: Called 911 because the car went through the gate and was driving on the grass. Dog was running unattended through the parking lot. This isn't safe for people or dogs. -- Normally, this is a great park for dogs. Most people are friendly and the rocky beaches provide a perfect place for the dogs to swim. However, it only takes one person to ruin it. The german shepherd in the photo was running unattended through the parking lot and entire park (neither in visual range nor under verbal control of its owner). Besides not cleaning up after the dog, it could've gotten really hurt running back and forth in an active parking lot. ** Please call the police if you see either the dog or the owner's car. ** The park is dog friendly, but it's irresponsible, bordering on criminal to just drop your dog off and let it run out of control beyond visual and verbal range. The owner just sat in their car on their phone not caring about the animal or anyone else at the park.

Real name of the area if called victory park and is one of the best dog parks in Boston. Dog walkers frequent between 10 and 2 on the weekdays and the park is very crowded (with dogs) around those times. Rock beaches, small wooded areas, and lots of mud after a rain. A boat has washed up on shore after a big storm

I've taken my Dog here several times to beat the heat. There are tons of places for her to safely swim. The people and Dogs we've met were friendly. Pepper, my pup, loves chasing the birds and running the paths.
