I rarely write an review but it made me mad so. I've been to this store for years and never seen a bad staff treat us and feel like cheat to us like this. Today I went to buy some fabrics with my mom and I saw the women that cut the fabrics for us last time.The fabric was supposed to make into a pants because of slanted fabrics that make my mom has to turn it different way to make the pants. So I decided to tell the lady what she did and I tell her this â last time," I repeatedly say LAST TIME, " you cut the fabric for us wasnât straight, it was slanted.â She thought I said this time so she kept showing me 1 yard here 1 yard and I even leave a little bit extra for you. Instead of saying sorry for done no good job or listen carefully that I said she was wrong and get over it but she said âIâm not perfect and youâre not perfect either and only God knows.â Why doesnât she do good job cut the the fabric properly and say sorry to the customerâs complaints; however she even argued with us and saying stuff like "I do whatever I want." Thatâs not how you do customer service! Do better job next...

My girlfriend went into Sewfisticated in the middle of the day after a wardrobe malfunction, just looking to purchase a bit of fabric and some safety pins so she could quickly fix her dress before an event. Instead of helping, the older man and woman running the store were condescending, rude, and outright dismissive.
They belittled her, treated her horribly, and then chased her out of the store telling her to âgo elsewhere.â This wasnât at closing time â it was broad daylight, and the store was open. My girlfriend is one of the sweetest, most soft-spoken people youâll ever meet. For her to come back to the car in tears says everything about how cruel and unnecessary their behavior was.
This is the exact reason people are abandoning small retailers for online shopping. When you treat customers with contempt, you lose them forever. Sewfisticated should be ashamed, and I canât imagine this kind of service keeping them in business...

Today I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the older female that works there at the counter. She has her hair tightly pulled back, and was wearing a mask. She was very dismissive, rude and pretty much showed colorist treatment compared to how her tone change and mannerisms when dealing with other people. Yet the younger women that was working up front with her today was very professional and kind.
