Some reviews are really harsh with this place so here’s the deal: come here if you’re either here to bowl or staying at the Ramada and don’t mind pub food that takes 10-30 minutes to make for this overworked kitchen doing its best with a surprisingly active bowling alley. It’ll likely hit the spot and you can enjoy a frame or two while you wait. The negative reviews didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me because why are you expecting culinary wizardry from a pub in a bowling alley? Place is good.
One honest critique though: the half-Canadian in me sighed when white gravy instead of brown gravy was used for the poutine. But maybe that’s what Bostonians like. I have no clue. Still hit the spot though. Nice place to vibe when the weather made walking around Boston not fun while staying at the...
Read moreI called in last night to place a order to be delivered right across the parking lot to the hotel. The lady that answered the phone was talking to someone else and laughing while she was on the phone with me and not taking my order at all. I had to wait about 2 minutes for her to finish her conversation and then I asked her, are you ready for me now and she hung up on me. I called back and I asked her, why did you hang up on me ,and she said hello, hello I can't hear you and hung up the phone again. If this is what you call a professional business, it's laughable! I will tell everyone I know including everyone in this hotel that I can talk to, don't go there, don't order from there!! This...
Read moreSoda fountain mix ratio favors water and CO2 over syrup. Watered down drinks. Onion rings served cold. Refried sapped any onion taste out of them. Pathetic thin strips of onion. No tartare sauce available. Burger had 3 half rings of onions a touch of lettuce as an after thought. Bun top disentigrated before burger was finished. Nice thick patty though. Turkey/Apple (Granny Smith)/Brie sandwich was massive. Apple was too sour against the rest. Fries are good though.
Booths are tight. Hard to get in and out of. If it wasn't because there was a rain soaked nor'easter happening, I would have gone back to a real restaurant with real food.
Amateur hour...
