It SUCKS! This store, well HD in general has always been one of my favorite places to shop at. This location has greatly made trips unpleasant with their new check out process. Employees hover over you as if you are toddler learning to walk, take the scanner from you, literally breath down your neck on your every move. You are not even done scanning one product when they ask if you scanned the next. Not to mention press "pay" on the screen w/o even asking and once again hover over you as you reach for your form of payment. What about my club member discount? Such an invasion of personal space, not even my child is that annoying. HD GM, I understand the measures taken are probably to keep up with technology advances, staff reduction and especially to ensure store profit from theft since that $999. However, this shows great distrust in your customers, not even Target/Walmart do so. Please back off or bring back your friend love cashiers because what you have going on SUCKS....I also don't understand the point of your barriers at the entrance, those things constantly go off and not a single one of your staff has done anything about it. It is more the people walking in stopping to stare at the individual walking out who...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is a good store. It's the closest to my house. Most of my experiences are positive. Their check out clerks are friendly. Returns are easy. Many things, I know right where to look, but sometimes I struggle to locate an item or section. This is when I start looking for an employee and they are equally difficult to find. When I find one, 9 times out of 10, they are courteous and helpful, so that's good.
The missing Star is because on multiple occasions, I'm standing there looking lost or walking back and forth past an employee (assuming there happens to be one in the area) and there is no intuition on their part to offer to help. Is that store policy? To wait to be asked before helping customers? If it is, then everyone is doing great. I'll give 5 stars and call it a day.
I just feel like I'm modern American society, customer service is prime and that starts with intuitive and helpful employees who actually want to help. At any grocery store, or other retail establishment, any time an employee crosses the path or makes eye-contact with a customer, they are trained to ask, "Are you finding everything ok? Can I help with anything?" - Unprompted. I'd be surprised if this is not a policy for this...

Weโve repurchased many and exchanged 1 in 8 years Tried to exchange a hose I bought for my mom without a receipt thinking they just swapped it out . Customer service gal asked me to go get the replacement for exchange but when i returned with it they said i needed an ID so i gave her my license and she ran it then til me I was denied the transaction. She was rude told me she didnโt know why I could contact some website. I donโt have a history of ever returned anything to Home Depot they made me feel like a criminal Finding the odd in the store was not easy. Once man greeted me while I was mid thru the store he was a bit creepy โhey how are uou ?โ A little too ling he looked me up and down. The gal in the garden dept was too busy watering to steer me to the right aisle I had to go back and ask again. Overall The worst experience ever. I will not go back to this store. Terrible service this was last night around 7:00 pm...
