Hair Expressions — Attraction in Brentwood

I've been seeing Alicia Ansell for 5 years and she is AWESOME!!! I love her! She's great at her job- is so knowledgeable and skilled- and is an incredible kind, caring person. She's kept track of everything she's done to my hair and is happy to make adjustments as needed. My scalp reacted badly to a product. She researched different options and how to avoid it happening again. She takes care of her clients, she cares, she listens... she's a friend.

I like the atmosphere of Hair Expressions. Everyone is friendly. I think the dividers between stylists is a great idea- you aren't forced to chat with anyone.

I've also seen Amy Simmons twice. Once for a cut (it looked awesome) and another time I had surgery and she braided my hair so I wouldn't have to mess with it. She is so nice and I've seen her do beautiful hair styles for events. Misty is great too! Whenever she shampoos my hair it is soooo relaxing. I've chatted with Julie and she is hilarious! Really everyone I've met there has be fantastic!

My one complaint would be that the shampoo chairs could be more comfortable. I feel like the chair is going to fall out under me and the neck rest is kind of hard. But once I get situated it's ok.

Hair Expressions is a great salon offering a wide range of services. I’ll start by giving the five stars to my hair dresser, Amy Simmons! I’ve been going to her for a few years now, and always had a consistant cut. She communicates well, and listens to what you want as a client- more texture, smooth, dimension, whatever. She’s a conservative cutter in terms of length, so no worries there. She’s also qualified to do a multitude of services as well, like; hair cutting, coloring, extensions, lashes, cosmetics, and more. Brooke Sandefer! I moved to TN 3-1/2 years ago. It has been difficult for me to find a stylist to hear what I’m saying. I had the formula from my previous hairdresser and still people could not or would match it. My hair is naturally black with beautiful grey coming in.
