Joe Howard did an amazing work for me. I'm glad he was the one who took care of me on June 17th.
I went to Schiller's to get my camera fix on June 2nd, The lady who took it tryied to check it for me after few minutes she wrote my name in a piece of paper and my phone number telling me she needed to keep the camera for about an hour to check on the batteries to be charged, but that she would call me back as soon as she could.
After days she never reach me, so I called the following week and they told me there was no camera or information about it, THEY COULD'T FIND MY CAMERA! Then after 3 days I call again asking for the lady and she was on the phone telling me she had my camera and the cost to send it to repair was about $400. So I told her "no thanks I will pick it up soon".
I pick my camera up on June 17th, and they couldn't find it AGAIN!!!! After 40 minutes waiting Joe H. finally did find my camera, and took his time to check the camera for me, he put a new battery to test it and a new memory card and Magic! My camera turn on perfectly and worked as brand new camera. I'm glad after all Schiller's help me out once again eventhough I almost got a hard attack by thinking about my camera got lost.
I went like 3 weeks ago because a wrong memory card got stock into my cannon camera. I tried 2 different places to get it out but they couldn't do it saying i have to send it to cannon factory or break it !!! Then I stop by my last try "Schiller's" you won't believe it! It took me 5 minutes to be waiting, and they fixed!!! unfortunately my camera got some minor damage with all that trying from the other...

The pros when you first walk in is the establishment is well kept and organized. It was nice to be able to take my son (who is interested in videography/photography) to see the different tripods, lighting, lenses, cameras, etc. There were plenty of options to choose from and view.
My experience went downhill from there. The customer service was abysmal. I walked around the place for several minutes, making a full circle around the store standing near multiple employees at various times without one offering assistance (a few were standing around having conversations with each other and visibly not assisting any other customers) or even general acknowledgment. This culminated with me looking directly at an employee and saying hello only for them to completely ignore it and continue walking past me. It was truly baffling. I've never had this poor of an experience anywhere else and the lack of professionalism was apparent.
Based off reading other reviews beforehand indicating a positive experience, I have to assume my experience is not typical, which makes it even more perplexing and disappointing. As I mentioned earlier, the place seems to be an excellent resource to meet your needs. Read moreEvery time I go to Schiller's I get nothing but A+++ service. I was in last year interested in stepping up my photography game from my simple yet useful Sony-DSH9 to a Canon Rebel T5i. I decided I wanted to learn about photography and wanted to get a camera that I could grow with. So I decided to check out Schiller's and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Brad. He was simply amazing and patient with answering my questions about the camera. After asking me some questions he recommended the Canon 70D and after doing more research on the model I decided it was definitely for me.
So this past January I finally had my camera. I originally received it from Sam's Club but didn't open it because I wanted to know what type of deal that Schiller's was offering. So I looked on their website and saw their lens package was better than Sam's not to mention they also offered a better warranty package, and include a free beginner class when you purchase a camera through them. So I went to Schillers and spoke to another salesman, who was just a great as Brad. I bought the camera after making sure all of my questions were answered and I was satisfied. I also bought some accessories and returned the other camera back to Sam's.
Since then I have also been back to buy a messenger style camera bag, a lightbox, and a tripod. I also took my introductory camera class. The service is nothing but wonderful and I highly...
