My husband wanted to upgrade my wedding ring with a much larger diamond for our sixth wedding anniversary. I knew I wanted to replace the center of my ring with a single brilliant princess cut that would sparkle in any light and make a screaming statement how much my husband loves me;-) I did not know if this was possible since my existing ring had five small diamonds and the setting would need to be altered.

I made a random stop at FAO Jewelers after work to 'look' at diamonds and get an idea to share with my husband. The store was about to close and I anticipated a quick 5 minute stop to get a quick quote. Unexpectedly, John, the owner took time to ask what brought me in. I showed him my ring and told him my idea. He knew exactly what I envisioned. Immediately he showed me multiple cuts, color, sizes and gave me visual ideas on what to expect. During my learning experience with John the team took time to do a courtesy cleaning of my ring.

I left the store impressed, all giddy and excited to share my story with my husband. When I got home, my husband was extremely attentive and so engaged hearing my experience that the next day he went to the store himself to meet John. My husband is a salesman himself and is 'hard to sell'. To my surprise I was completely shocked when I found out he purchased a larger, clearer and more brilliant colored diamond than what I originally wanted and how eager he wanted to!

Only a week after placing the work order, my ring was ready for pick up. My husband and I planned to pick up the ring together after work. We both had an opportunity to see the Canadian sirius bear diamond under the microscope and actually saw the bear etched in the ring. The immediate magic took place when my husband put my ring on my finger and I started to cry...it was so magical and beautifully placed on my finger it looked incredible! The ring is so much more than what I expected!

I just had to write a review about FAO Jewelers and the Wonderful Customer Service I received. Recently I decided to have a ring restyled and took a picture in. Previously I had taken my engagement ring in to add two larger stones and it turned out perfectly. They said the ring could be remade according to the picture. It turned out FABULOUSLY. It is exactly what I wanted and the work is gorgeous. The staff, and owner John, are wonderful, honest people. Talene was my Sales Rep and she has been superb! After having a bad experience at another retailer in town, I was a bit nervous about leaving my engagement ring, but Talene assured me of their spotless reputation. I am a "customer for life" now. What a wonderful experience I had at this Jewelry store. I went in with my wedding rings that have needed repaired for over 8 years. My husband wanted so bad to repair them for me, but just never seemed to get around to it. On November 27th my husband passed away suddenly. First thing I wanted was to repair these rings and wear them again for him. When I took them in they were quite a mess. I met Heidi and she took such good care of me even without knowing my story. I picked my rings up in less than a week , and they are absolutely beautiful! What a first class business this is , with wonderful, kind people. The jeweler did a beautiful job on a 27 year old wedding set and made it look like I just bought it! I highly recommend this place hands down!!!!
