Great place to get scammed. Bought a couple hundred dollars worth of tile. Paid the "convenience fee" for online ordering. Picked it up, dropped it off at the house -- which meant hauling it up flights of stairs for the project. Tile guys called about an hour into the project, 3/5ths of the tile boxes are complete trash. Two boxes are cut and cracked specials, one box is actually mortared together inside the box. Store tells me, that's your problem to sort. Return the tile on my time and dime, no offer to make the situation right, no offer to refund the "convenience fee" that was charged. Tell me, what is convenient about buying the same product twice because of your deceptive sales practices? To be clear, it is deceptive to sell USED TILE as new tile. Great way to stick it to the customers ordering online and paying extra for the "convenience" of being sold absolute trash. If I had a way to source something comparable quickly I would have started over with a different company altogether. During my project I have bought from Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's, and Floor and Decor --- Menard's is the only store where this has happened not once but twice. Both times it was "my problem" to solve. Never again. I'd rather pay more from a reputable vendor. I easily had 20+ online orders from Home Depot in (2) months -- no convenience fee, no mistakes, no returned products, no damaged products, no scammy customer service personnel who hang up on you when you call. 100% prefer other stores to Menard's --- Maybe it's a Brookpark Rd probelm, but I think I'll just stay away from them altogether at this point. Really unfortunate and a total failure in my book.

I'll never do a project again using Menard's. It was a first and last time in this regard. Online order was painless, returns were painless. But delivery of the product was a disaster, their delivery contractor cracked my driveway, they stacked two skids of pavers six foot high (not safe by OSHA I'm sure). One skid had a bunch of hidden damage buried inside of it. They also blocked up the driveway because their site states how they will call you after delivery to further move delivered goods. I never heard from them. I contacted their "Customer Service Dept (corportate)" and complained about this, their response was basically like "Thanks for the business, sorry to hear about your experience". I contacted the delivery manager at the store via email. Never heard from him after I sent him my complaints. I even went as far as to send my complaints to the State AG in which the remediation process is voluntary. Menard's did not care to participate. Buyer beware when it comes to large scale projects/delivery and make sure you verify your delivery of goods.

Beware- you might be buying used merchandise! I bought a 5x7 area rug for $129.00 today, brought it home and laid it out in my living room. After a few minutes, I started wheezing, coughing and itching all over. It reminded me of the reaction I get from dogs and cats due to my allergies, but since I’m so allergic, no dog has ever been in my house ( I love them, just too allergic!) I took some tape and stuck a few pieces to the rug and when I pulled it up… DOG/CAT HAIRS!!! Where do I start? This is disgusting…if I wanted to buy a used rug, I would have went to a yard sale. And 129.00 is not cheap. My allergic reaction was pretty bad, the rug was big and heavy and a pain to drag back to Menards…and the manager could not have cared less when I explained what happened. He said, “ it could have been a return… sorry that happened”. Really? You didn’t seem to be. Ridiculous. At least I got my money back, and of course won’t go back there.

I visited the location earlier in the month of July. My girlfriend and I were shopping for a washer because the other one broke while kelly was washing cloths. The appliance department did not have an associate around and we had to have one called to the area to assist us. Once the store associate arrived, he didn't seemed trained to be able to answer all my questions or simply replied by I do not know. We looked at several washers, most were out of stock and would take up to 3 weeks to be in stock and arrange for delivery. We did find one that would suit our needs but wasn't budget friendly it was a floor model but no discount would be awarded eventhough it looked like a floor model that had been nicked up a little. We saw another on that was in stock. It too wasn't budget friendly. We asked if they deliver. They said they do but there is an extra charge. The associate wrote up the order and we went down to the counter to arrange for delivery. The gentleman notified us delivery is $79 and they only drop off at the door because of covid 19. I replied how is my girlfriend going to get this in her house. She is weak and tired all the time because she has leukemia and takes chemo medication. They said they could not enter the home and suggested that I help her to get it in the house. I asked if they would prorate the delivery because they are only completing half the work and I could use the money to pay someone to move it in the house. They would not grant that to me. I showed them paperwork that cleared kelly and myself of covid 19 that I recieved from our doctors and further clarified with the store associate that we will be clear of their path so they can complete the whole delivery. They would not agree because of safety concerns. I even offered double for the delivery fee. They still refused. I cancelled the order and went to HOME DEPOT. The prices were better, the associate was knowledged and most appliances were in stock. The delivery charge is free for any purchase over $300. And they will deliver, hook up, and take away old equipment. What a deal. Menards lost out on a $900 purchase plus taxes and delivery. However lyrics for up as my game because I save more money at Home Depot Home. In fact Kelly opened a credit card and has 6 months interest free and she was eligible for another $50 discount for opening a credit card....

When I think about a grand opening at a store I’m thinking stores are fully staff and the employees are trained well enough to handle the high volume of people that will fill their stores. Went to buy 2 garage doors at the Brookpark location today. The experience from beginning to end was exhausting. I had to travel around the store just to find someone to help me find the product when I finally found someone they were complaining about how they didn’t take their break yet to another employee and basically just quickly entered the order and told me to go to the front to pay. I paid and had to visit customer service to apply the tax exempt to my order. Upon doing this I was offered an in store gift certificate for the tax I paid instead of it being reimbursed on my card and then I had to proceed to the barn to pickup my order. I tried scanning my barcode it said “invalid barcode”. The guard attendant told me “you already picked up your order” and I asked how? I didn’t even come back here yet. I went back to customer service, and they had to call the GM who said to tell the guard that it’s ok to go through. Finally in the barn, I waited about 15-20 mins and no one showed up. When someone finally arrived, they said no one radioed them about my order. I ended up having to go back to the pickup desk to have another associate tell their manager to go to the guard shack to even let me out of the pickup area. For a purchase of 2 garage doors it took me a total of one and a half hours. If I were to visit Home Depot I would have been in and out in less than 15 mins. We visited the desk by checkout after picking up our order to talk to assistant manager about our bad experience and he basically said well we are busy and there is nothing they could do. When in my experience it didn’t seem like the areas I needed help in were that busy at 8:30pm at night. This to me is an excuse for bad communication. It would have taken one person to radio and make the calls within the necessary departments to ensure a customer was fully satisfied and will return with more business. This is a terrible first...

Went to this location on the 26th of May this year the get a SunJoe lawnmower for my dad for Father’s Day. Online it said they had 6 in stock. Couldn’t find any on the floor after looking for 20 min. So I left and did a pick up because I was on a time crunch and I could come back the next day to do a pick up order. Got an email that they were on back order. When online it said 6 in stock. So I waited. Called the order pickup some time around mid June. Still was on back order. So I waited longer. Called again on June 21st still on back order. Called again on June 27th. They then told me that they would email the distributor and get an update on it and they they would call me back. Made sure they had my number before I hung up. I called again on June 30th. Was told it should be there the end of that week or beginning of next. Yesterday, July 4th I checked my Menards email from the 26th of may. Said that I had pick up my order on July 1st. I did not. Went in today on July 5th to the pick up center and the girl behind the counter tells me that my lawnmower that I had already paid for over a month ago was put back on the floor because it was at pick up for over 30 days. NO IT WAS NOT!! Then I am told that they only have one is stock and that it’s the floor model if I want it. Try to tell me it’s the lawnmower that was intended for me. That is covered in dust. Which is fine. I’m not going to wait another month and a half for my fathers gift. So they Print out the manual for the lawnmower so I have it. Then the nice gentleman behind the counter is double checking that I have all of the parts to it and I go to look online on my phone to make sure also. The girl behind the counter gets an attitude saying “I’m looking online right now, the only thing it comes with is the battery and charging cord”. Great. I’m fed up. I say thank you and proceed to walk away. The girl then proceeds to tell me to have a great and and I reply with the same. Every single job I have ever had since I was 15 has been some form of customer service. Clearly Menards is SERIOUSLY LACKING ON THEIR...
