T.J. Maxx — Attraction in Brooklyn

Walked in the door and my daughter pointed out a sweater that was facing us that matched my boots as I went to the sweater I noticed the MANAGER PATRICK E. Starring us down (not even in the store 60 secs) he walked pass and continued to watch us as he walked toward but turned his head backwards. I said hello can I help you with something and he said “oh you talking to me?) I said yeah you were looking pretty hard. I picked up the sweater and went to look at something else but I thought about how I had been RACIALLY PROFILED IN LESS THAN A MINUTE WITH MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER. So I approached him and asked h his name and if he was a manager I told him that I didn’t appreciate him racially profiling me and my daughter and he didn’t even greet us coming In the door his excuse was “she was talking to you”.. When have they ever not yelled welcome any other time? THIS MAN IS A BERY POOR MANAGER AND HE WOULD BENEFIT FROM TAKING AN ETHICS COURSE OR TWO! He’s a manager and racially profiling me not even knowing I most likely make twice his salary. It’s a sad world we live in.. I REFUSE TO SPEND MY MONEY WHERE MY COLOR IS NOT WELCOMED! T. J. Maxx never disappoints! The prices are incredible! This store is kept very neat and tidy making it easy to navigate through everything. The workers here are so kind and helpful. They have a smile on their face and they have conversations with you at checkout instead of just standing there without saying anything which has become a norm in retail. They have so much stuff you'll want to look at so make sure you don't go with limited time! I was able to get one under armour hoodie, two thick sweaters, and two long sleeve blouses for $110! Talk about a steal. The lady who assists you at the dressing room was awesome! She was quick and efficient. After trying on the clothes she took any of the things I didn't want to put away. I also love the checkout process. There is one line which leads to 5 cashiers, making the line go really fast and enabling everyone to have around the same wait time. The cashier was extremely friendly too. I would highly recommend shopping here if you want to save money. The overall experience is wonderful! You will not regret shopping here in a clean store with friendly workers while...

You did good at the beginning by closing and employees could go home. I went to my Bank yesterday, which is just next to this TJ Maxx. I had on a mask. There is a sign on the door that says " You must wear a mask to come into this T.J.Maxx." So, I was good to go!! A young lady was standing by the door, holding on to a cart right in the cart area right at the front of the store. I thought she would stop people if they were not wearing a mask, but i guess not. If your going to put up the sign, then its up to you to enforce it. As I waited in the checkout line, the 2 customers in front of me had no masks, the lady behind me had a kid who was sneezing right behind me, not 6' away, with "NO MASKS ON EITHER THE LADY OR CHILD" THIS, is what I am talking about, T.J. MAXX, THIS IS OBVIOUSLY NOT PROTECTING YOUR EMPLOYEES AND OTHER SHOPPERS FROM THIS VIRUS SPREADING!! I dont think I will be back there for a LONG, LONG TIME AND WILL NOT BUY ONLINE. Sorry, but your not enforcing the rules T.J.MAXX.... 3 stars because the store was clean and purses were done very nicely....very colorful selection!...
