I was looking to purchase jewelry for myself and save some money on the purchase, so I decided to stop in here on the spur of the moment to see the rings that were available at this time. This is a pawn shop, and one man was juggling a few customers in there. He was helpful in showing me rings from his case and checking their size for me. He did a good job bouncing between me and the other customers, and eventually I found a ring I liked that fit the finger I wanted it for. The asking price was not bad but I asked, as I always do, if he offered a military discount (because I am a veteran). He said he would see what he could do, looked up paperwork on the ring, then came back with a $50 discount (nearly 20% off the asking price!). I gratefully accepted and paid. He put the ring in an ultrasonic cleaner and gave it to me squeaky clean. He accepts cash and major credit cards. There are other things for sale here besides jewelry. Firearms, video game systems, bicycles, tools, musical instruments, and a whole lot of things that can't be listed because it depends on what of value people bring in. Hi guys...never pawned anything...went to Jewelry n Time pawn because of unexpected expenses....came close to closing time to "feel out the place"...decided I really needed to make a deal for a loan...I never wanted to pawn my jewelry...was looking to sell my guns. They did not want my guns...I asked them about my gold I had on (I am a girl who wears a lot of gold) took off my best pieces and was offered 275.00 I had to take it..there were two men...one was very unprofessional and suggested I would not be back despite my expression of being very sentiminal about the jewelry...Well I went back and paid for my jewelry and had to pawn my jewelry again (the same EXACT jewelry) went to Value Pawn on Hillsborough Ave in Tampa they offered me 710.00 without a a blink a twitch or BSw... I have been coming to Jewels N Time for a few years now and I only buy my jewelry from Jewels N Time. When I was living in NYC I would travel to Mark and only purchase with him and now that I live on the east coast I get to frequent his store more often and Mark has been gracious and always been a wonderful man to deal with. I purchased a rolex from him as well and I only fix my high end watches with Mark as he is very meticulous, perfectionist, and detailed oriented. I redid my Rolex and put diamond bezels and changed the look of the watch and it came out absolutely stunning. I have fixed all my jewelry with him as well and it comes out perfectly. I can see why he is one of the few who can fix watches at a great price had i sent it to Rolex it would have cost me the same as purchasing a new Rolex.
