I can't speak highly enough of this shop. I've been running TTRPG sessions here every week since it opened so I am going to give a detailed breakdown of the staff, facility, community, and products.
-STAFF- Pretty much the only staff you'll see is Patrick, who owns the store. He's incredibly friendly and always happy to talk shop. His demeanor makes asking questions about product, what people play there, or anything else very approachable. Patrick is very accommodating and seems to be willing to do anything, within reason, so make sure the community is having a great experience. In a pinch you might meet a member of his family covering for a day, they're also always very nice.
-FACILITY- The shop is always very clean and even has two bathrooms. Every time I've come into the shop it's been well put together. There is a large main room for war games, board games, and the like. A smaller side room for TTRPGs that has 2 tables (one with a tv in it) and a divider that can be put up between the tables. The store section is separate from the play areas. This layout makes it really great for folks who are playing larger rowdy community games alongside people playing more intimate TTRPGs and the people shopping. Everyone gets their own area without having to deal with the frustrations of yelling over one another or running out of physical space.
-COMMUNITY- So far the community is great. I think the shop has successfully cultivated a positive environment which means it has attracted a positive community. When I was there playing board games with a group and someone came around looking to play board games Patrick brought them over and introduced them. They were able to join us and we had a second person do the same. One of them is now in my ongoing TTRPG group, which is awesome.
-PRODUCTS- Never Board is still young and trying to find its footing regarding what the community wants. They've got a good mix of TTRPG, Warhammer, and board game stuff. If you are looking for anything in particular, Patrick is always happy to see what he can do to bring it...

This shop is CLEAN. I cannot stress enough how nice and welcoming and clean this place is. It doesn’t smell like old carpet and decaying cardboard. The owner cleans up every night and ensures a spotless environment. Which is more than can be said for similar shops in the area that have stains all over the place and just overall do not look cared for.
The owner is passionate about the gaming community in Hernando County and it’s clear he’s poured his heart and soul into this place. I’ve been there several times since opening and it has been an excellent experience each time. I’ve met a bunch of other really nice magic players and my girlfriend has had a blast finding new people to play tabletop with. I encourage people in the tabletop rpg and tcg community to check this place out. The magic community is still growing and...
