I had 2 nephews studing aviation as international students one got his licence in 6 months, with good instructor and planes were always available that nephew was very aware about counting hours and requirements towards his license, the other was counting on his instructor he had 4 different instructor in 2 yrs, and last instructor will just want to fly more and more without helping him get his license requirements instructor was just making his hours and wouldn’t care about him getting his license and he had about 50% of his flights cancelled and no-one follows up on students progress or on what Instructors are doing for their students he will have to finish at other airport. If you are student pilot be very aware of your requirements towards your license and let the instructor know where you are at they wont care they are only trying to fly as many hours as possible for them and the more time you’re a student more time they fly as instructors and wont give you your solo claiming you are not ready. And they send planes to maintenance all at once while they have students schedule and then they have to cancel instead of keeping proper records of hours of motor every flight...
