Best Taste of India 2 — Restaurant in Plumstead Township

If you do not know what authentic indian food tastes like, you are about to get scammed by coming here. All their food is expired. We have ordered from them multiple times in the past, and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME we ordered, the food was expired, smelling, and shouldn't be fed to customers. Everything from the chicken, to the chutney is expired. It is very evident from the smell and looks of the food, if you look closely. Don't get twisted by the other reviews. I'm baffled by how they choose to feed customers such poisonous food. We have kindly asked the owner to stop feeding customers this type of food, but he is very ignorant and doesn't care what the customers say. I have uploaded pictures of some of the food. Look closely at the green chutney, you can see that there is bubbles coming out of the chutney(meaning it is expired). My parents almost threw up after one bite of eating their chicken. This place needs to be inspected asap. I would give them more stars for a nice interior, but the fact that they feed their own customers with such low standards really disgusts me. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Lately the quality and service have been doing downhill. The last few times, we specifically asked which entrees were made with chicken breast white meat. Different entrees were recommended each time and each time they were dark meat. Tonight we asked 3 times and when found dark meat in the entree, she lied to us and said we never asked that. When we said we shouldn't pay for it, she said we did. She never apologized, admitted her mistake or offered to get the manager. She never took anything off the bill. I guess white meat is more expensive than dark meat. I would pay more for it. Don't lie to me and then deny it. Don't give me what I specifically said I didn't want and then act offended that I am unhappy. We used to be regular customers. I spent $50 on dinner tonight. Just to find hair in my food. When I called the restaurant the guy did not believe me and asked me to bring in the food as he said it’s probably ginger. So I told him I would like a full refund as this is not okay. So I went in and they were shocked to see the hair, and said I could ask for a refund. I completed the refund process just for the guy to tell me that it was not okay for me to get a full refund. I said I lost my appetite and quite frankly if I found hair in my first bite I have no clue what else could be in there.
