So let me start off by saying I RARELY leave reviews, but I just had to.
Yesterday I was having an all types of terrible day, so I was a little SOL on my day so I said, “screw it, let me get some food from the area, try something new.” And I opened up google and looked up food near me and I saw this place was a small walk away and this place looked good and I tried it.
The lady in the front of the store taking orders during the afternoon was probably the best part of this, she was so kind, sweet, friendly, helpful, and just overall so hospitable and that was really something on this very bad day I was having. When everything seemed to be falling apart that day, even the Boston crème donut I got from Dunkin didn’t even have crème in it lmao 😆😂 she just made my bad day a little bit better. She’s a gem.
So eventually I get home and went with the Keanu, I was hoping with the spicy sweet chili it wouldn’t be too hot, but when I took that first bite, oh my god. The bad day I was having yesterday seemed to just melt away after that first bite lol. I’ve never hard a sandwich that was so tender and soft, but also somehow so textured but not to the point where parts of the sandwich was over cooked. Idk how those guys in the back did it, but they whipped something up so damn amazing I HAVE TO COME BACK. I’m actually gonna come here with my partner tomorrow because this place was so good, I wanna spend my money there again already 😆😂 My only regret was I didn’t get ranch with my cheese fries, which were amazing.
Sorry to the waitress who’s booth I sat down at tho and realized my phone was about to die and had to dip then lol.
Overall tho, I HIGHLY recommend this place, this feels like 5/5 is too low because I think this place deserves more. Amazing, I can’t wait...
Read moreThis weekend my family popped into Dean's Chicken and Seafood after running errands. Tucked away in Cross Keys Place in Doylestown, Dean's offers a wonderful lunch with a friendly atmosphere punctuated by excellent food, attentive service, and fun decor. Come for a sandwich, stay for the rubber chickens and Ween poster! First we started with unsweetened iced teas which were nicely brewed—we were already off to a strong start. I had the Franky, a buttermilk fried buffalo chicken sandwich with bleu cheese on the softest, buttery brioche roll which was accompanied by a healthy portion of french fries. The fried chicken was an absolute knockout—it was shatteringly crisp on the outside and perfectly seasoned and moist on the inside. My sister had the Brie-LT, which was a grilled chicken sandwich topped with melty Brie and the usual trappings of a BLT—she also enjoyed her lunch!
The whole meal was an excellent value in relation to the excellent quality of everything we ordered. I watched to see what other guests were ordering and was stricken by jealousy each time I made eye contact with what came out of the kitchen. My hope for my next visit is that it will be so crowded that I have to wait to enjoy my meal. Do yourself a kindness and check out Dean's Chicken and...
Read moreA lot of people in my circle have been raving about Dean's Chicken Sandwich.
So after months of putting it off, I finally made the trip.
Maria our server was very sweet.
The menu is simple enough, and all the descriptions made me want to order everything.
I ordered the Dean's Hot, which came with the most amazing order of French fries, and at that, a good amount as well, with extra pickles on the side.
The chicken sandwich was amongst the biggest I've seen, and the flavor was amazing.
Warning, the sauce can get pretty spicy so you can order the sauce on the side.
I'm curious about their other menu items, so I might have to come back again in the near future.
Dean's gets one of my rare 5 stars.
I could have eaten 3 of their platters, just couldn't afford it lol
Update:
Tried the Keanu this time. Was not a fan.
Had to take off a star.
I definitely recommend staying with...
