This church permits a school to operate within its facilities, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that should be held to standards of fairness, impartiality, and integrity. Unfortunately, with the support of the church, the school expelled a child based on pressure from another parent, without handling the matter with balance or justice.
Such actions reflect a failure to uphold both the expectations of a federally recognized nonprofit and the biblical principles of grace, truth, and fairness. Punishing a student for matters outside of school hours — and taking a one-sided approach without accountability — demonstrates poor leadership and misplaced priorities.
