This store's real name should have been "Scam Street" and not "Second Street" because of the absurd and disappointing service we were given from trying to sell our used and even brand new clothes with the tags still attached to those clothes and two shoes one in brand new conditon and other used but in great condition! It takes about 30 minutes from our location to get to the store and once me and family arrived and went inside the mall to the store, there were two girls working in the desk, one ignored us and the other was more welcoming at least saying hi and smiling the other was not, at least have some hospitality to make customers feel welcomed instead of feel like another annoyance or like we were not even there! Anywho, the other girl who was more welcoming to us told us it will take an hour to give us the price for the clothes and shoes we bought, keep in mind that some of the clothes we brought were new with tags and some were used and one shoe in brand new condition and one other shoe used but in great condition and were ours! We waited for an hour and no phone call, so me and family decided to go up and see what's up! They already had the price estimated without calling to notify us and, the worst part, they gave us $4 dollars, that's right, $4 DOLLARS for a decent amount of clothes we brought to them and, on top of that, two shoes that one is in brand new condition and one used but in Great condition! And on top of that, the girl who was not as welcoming to us told us, these clothes and shoes we brought were donated to us and that is the reason they gave us $4 dollars! Like, who the heck are you lying to, these clothes and shoes were ours but instead that girl said that these were DONATED to us when they were OURS! This store is a complete joke and waste of customer's time! If you guys had any better, or might I say, perfect name for your store it would be SCAM STREET not "SECOND STREET"! If you guys treat your customers like this you will drive more customers and your sales will therefore drop! How about have some human decency and don't lie to us that these are donated clothes/shoes when we know it is clearly ours and don't be selling $4 dollars for a lot of clothes plus shoes we brought, that is just a scam and a complete joke! Oh and also, forgot to mention, that the girl who wasn't welcoming to us gave us the wrong box of clothes and shoes that weren't ours and we had to point to her that our box is up in the shelf behind her, not even paying attention to which box has our clothes! I don't believe but know for a fact that that they were trying to give us $4 dollars for the clothes so that we can accept that offer only for them to sell our clothes at a higher price in their stores because they saw how Great of a condition our clothes and shoes were! Howevere, didn't fool us, they fooled themselves out of the very great deal that they could have given us with a higher and fairer price and could have gotten with our nice clothes and shoes but they didn't so the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in to sell some things and the girl told me it would probably be an hour to an hour and a half wait. Said sheād she call me once they were done. So I looked around the store first and everything was pretty expensive for used stuff. Plus itās small area so it was hard to get around. My boyfriend and I decided to go and try to kill some time while we were waiting. I waited 2 hours and decided to see if they were almost done. I was told that there was a few people ahead of me and that it shouldnāt take long, that it would be another 30 minutes. So went trying to keep busy again and waited maybe another 1 and a half or so. Still no call so went back and noticed my stuff was on the counter and asked the guy if my stuff was done. He said they had to do something but he was looking at someone elseās stuff. He finally gave me $49 for what I had. It definitely wasnāt worth hanging around for like 5 hours just for that. I wasnāt going to drive back n forth to Boston for something I didnāt know was going to take that long. Wasted...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't waste your time which I did today at the new Brookline store scheduled to open at the end of this week. I brought in 13 items to be priced and they said I would be called within 11/2 hours. I killed that time in the area and had not heard from them. I called and was told that the items were being reviewed and to come in in 20 minutes. Half an hour later, I went in and the associate was still pricing the items. Bottom line--I was offered $24 after which I promptly packed up the items and left. What a joke. I get they want Balenciaga and Dolce, and that is their prerogative. I have sold items at Buffalo Exchange across the street which is infinitely more professional and offers fair pricing. And for your reference, the cases in the front which contained supposedly high-end jewelry (Chanel, Dior) and bags and wallets (Vuiton Gucci, etc.)looked counterfeit and totally overpriced considering the stuff is probably fake. A...
