I had high expectations of this place from reading the reviews. Well...it ain't gelato you'd find in Europe and certainly not in Italy. European gelato is dense and rich in taste, and I can get 2 good sized scoops for 2 Euros in less touristy areas. When they scoop gelato in Italy from the containers you can see how the treat is like a very, very thick paste...like a thick, smooth gel. Nova passes off what is the consistency of soft serv and nowhere near the richness in taste you'd find in the worst European gelateria. They then sell half the portion I can get in Europe for almost triple the price. They get their 'gelato' to resemble a thick paste only by keeping it stirred inside a machine. Once you take it home and freeze it in your own fridge, you will see that it hardens and is nowhere the consistence of real gelato. There is a reason why they don't scoop from containers -- it's not going to resemble a thick paste like in Europe. I am amazed how they can call what they make 'gelato' and get people to pay an astounding amount for what is...

The Panini was crispy on the outside with a perfectly flavored filling, while the Affogato was an exquisite blend of hot espresso over creamy ice cream, a true treat to the taste buds. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Iโll definitely be making a return visit and recommend this place to fellow shoppers looking for a delicious break during their...
