It’s incredibly disheartening to witness how some managers and staff interact with guests at their establishments. Respect and kindness seem to have been forgotten, replaced instead by yelling, rudeness, and a lack of basic decency. This was my first experience seeing my partner treated so poorly. All I wanted was to retrieve her car keys — a simple request — yet instead of calmly informing me that the door was already open, the staff treated her like a nuisance and resorted to yelling. The situation was not only unprofessional but deeply upsetting. It’s essential to remember: we should never treat others in ways we wouldn’t want to be treated ourselves. God forbid a woman in distress — potentially facing a medical emergency — be ignored in such a way. Rather than helping or even attempting to understand what was happening, four team members chose to do nothing. The lack of empathy and initiative was shocking. I saw no evidence of a manager being on duty, and if there was, there was certainly no display of leadership or accountability from them or the team. I’m extremely dissatisfied with how everything was handled, and I will be reaching out to corporate regarding this matter. The employees involved included Caleb, James, and another individual who refused to...
Read moreThe AMC Burlington MA left a big chunk of office staple leather recliner to my 6yo son sat on. The staple was sticking out and gave my 6yo son with a 4 inch bloody cut in the dark. When we reached out to the manager, he tried to lie about finding no object in his inspection. But the house was filled with next show’s audience, he would not be able to check the seat. We insisted to look at the chair to make sure no one stank the seat with needle or infected object. The manager found the sharp outward pointing staples on the leather cover. He explained why it was there as if we should just accept to be cut. Their GM finally reached out 2 days later, stating she will file an incident report. As of now, the Theater offered no apology for their negligence nor did they offer any recovery such as a simple refund. They just told me to wait for their insurance company to contact me. Who knows how many of those staples are lying around. Wasted 6 hours to inspect the chair and in the doctor office. The movie was brilliant but the experience was horrifying. I will never...
Read moreWas great until the upgraded the movie theater. Now it's a very unenjoyable movie experience. Their reclining seats make it so no one can see, everyone just keeps adjusting the seats the entire time, and or gets up out of their seats and tries to walk around for a better view. When you put reclining seats in you have to make the area that they sit on, a very steep incline. So if you are reclined then your feet need to be above the persons head in front of you while that person in front of you is in the upright position. Anything else = you can't see the screen, you see the tops of heads, it doesn't matter how tall you are, when your inclined you see peoples heads and not the screen. If you sit up in these chairs they are completely uncomfortable. On top of that, now you have to pick your seat ahead of time, so you are forced into a horrible seat pretty much every time! I don't understand what their thought process was here! I'm guessing they want to go bankrupt and close down in the Burlington location? The only thing that makes...
