I came here with my daughter's preschool, and we were here after hours. We had the place to ourselves, and it was just wonderful. They have SO MUCH to do here, much more than the Everett museum, but with the benefit of being very CLEAN and new-feeling. Their rates are also much better, so if you're halfway between, as I am, choose Burlington.

The popular spots with my 2 year old were.... everything, pretty much. The turtles and fish in the aquariums were fascinating. The crane that went up and down was super cool. Shopping on "main street" was good. The "racecars" (scooters) were a hit (I'll admit I took one for a spin, too, heehee!). Painting was fun, and there was definitely some co-op pieces, with so many little ones running around.

They had a lactation room, which I deeply appreciated, as I had my 9month old in tow, too. The bathroom was very clean, but I only noticed one... hopefully there were more, that I didnt notice! Lots of seating for adults all over, which is convenient. I was entranced by the sand table with had the projector set up to draw topography lines- I could have stayed there for hours. I also enjoyed the GIANT foam building blocks.

I did miss a water world. I can speculate on several reasons why they cant have one, and it was unfortunate to miss out.... but there was so much more to do, it was barely missed!

I highly recommend this museum to everyone with young kids- maybe up to 12 or 14 years old, even! There's a lot of replay value here, and so much to do in every visit, you'll never get to it all...

There were many great activities for the children to play and learn about. We unfortunately arrived at the end of the day so we didn't have nearly enough time and would love to go back. There were a few things of concern that I noticed though. The one main concern that I had, I took a picture of and had intended to show a staff member but got caught up in rounding up my 2 children who had no intentions of leaving. As an electrician, it is by default curse that I look up and observe other electricians work. I saw a glaring wiring issue over head that concerned me. Now, first and foremost, I have no idea what it's to, or if it is even live. But either way, to someone such as myself, it doesn't look good. In all fairness it isn't anywhere close to where anyone would normally be in any danger. But exposed conductors should always be bad practice to any quality electrician. There were other wiring issues I noticed and hope this place gets a better electrician.

Overall my family had a fantastic time here. There were so many things to do, in so many random places I had an ADD episode just walking in. Unfortunately my OCD took over and I wasn't able to over look some of the glaring electrical concerns. Most everything I noticed was low voltage, so not a huge concern for most. But just unprofessional for a business. I just hold them to a higher standard because of safety for the children, considering it's a place for them to run around and experiment. Otherwise, a great place for kids to learn and have...

So many activities. Forewarning the museum has changed locations and moved around their displays so some of the pictures are not currently accurate. Our first time here was a friends birthday party and then we hosted my 5yr olds party as well. We've recently gotten a membership because it's expensive to pay by each time you go. I've already made "my money back". There's so much to do, but I also like that there are plenty bathrooms and water fountains and places to sit. They also have a sit down place at the front to eat your snacks. NO PEANUT PRODUCTS. Which is very much needed because kids get hungry and thirsty. There's an art room, a reading room, a toddler/baby area. My kids are 5 and 1 and I love how small but fun it is watching them play together. We recently went to the Everett one but it was so busy and so many things and a large area that it was hard to keep them interested in the same things at the same time. I prefer this one for that. In the warmer months I prefer to keep the kids outside so I don't see myself going as often in the summer. But it's much needed entertainment when it's cold and rainy in this area. It would be pretty cool if there was a little bit of activities to do outdoors so that we could go in the summer and get the much needed sun. I know they host an outdoor event in the winter which is so cool. But wishing the outdoor park would...
