We booked our room for April 11 and 12th on February 18th via the Hilton Honors phone number. We only wanted Fri. 4/12/24 booked and we were told it was unavailable 2 months ahead. I then inquired about a 2 day stay on April 11 and 12th and was told inexplicably that it indeed was available. The price I was quoted was DOUBLE what we had paid 6 months prior at the same hotel. When we arrived at 9p on April 11th we entered our room and placed our bags around the room only to find a large amount of drywall powder along the wall where my wife placed her bag(see photo). I then closed the blackout curtains only to find the right hand one next to the bed was mounted 6 inches higher than the left one(see photo) and would NOT block light from entering the room next to our bed. My wife then went to the bathroom. As soon as she closed the door, the interior handle fell off. If she had locked the door she would have been locked in the bathroom. I went down the the front desk and spoke with Cio, who said housekeeping had left for the day and there was no way to vacuum up the dry wall residue near my wife’s suitcase. The next morning when we had breakfast, the sausage was undercooked and which is a health hazard. We checked out on Saturday April 13th with Breanna, who actually recognized us from multiple previous stays. I indicated to her all the issues we had encountered an she glibly said she would let the “manager” know and did not offer to get a manager. She said someone would be in touch with us within 2 days, which of course never happened. 4 days after our stay I called Hilton Honors guest relations and indicated our issues. We were told someone would be in touch within 72 hours. Here we are 5 days later, with NO reply either from the hotel manager or Hilton Honors guest relations. CUSTOMER NO SERVICE. Stay away from this hotel. If the manager reads this, don’t bother giving me a phone number to call because I know the drill from another bad stay recently at a Tru by Hilton in Wilson, NC. I’ll be given the mail phone number to the main hotel to call and NO ONE KNOWS what to do, WHY I am calling or who to transfer me to. Multiple bad experiences. I see...
Read moreThis is one of the best Hampton Inn we stayed at and we have stayed many. The hotel is fairly new and decoration is modern and chic. Breakfast is good and for the four mornings there are enough variety. We checked in after 10:30pm and need to head out 8ish next morning to catch ferry. Front desk gave us a few bottles without a charge and that was really nice. There is a Japanese restaurant in the same plaza and we are pleasantly surprised by the quality of food there. The pool here is bigger than many of the hotels we stayed at and my son was able to practice swimming on rainy days.
The stay would have been perfect. However we did have a glitch at check in. We pulled in after 10pm and was told the manager cancelled our reservation because we had an invalid credit card on file. We travel extensively and never ran into this. They said my Hilton membership account has an invalid credit card and a wrong phone number. That credit card was indeed invalid for a long while since I had been a member for years. When booking online, you always have to put in a credit card and your phone number. It seems to me that this hotel uses what one has in member account rather what one puts in during reservation. The manager emailed me 3:03pm on that day and called me and then cancelled my reservation. However we were at North Cascade and I don't have any signals on my phone. Fortunately the lady at front desk that night was very helpful and she told us our room was the last one and almost got sold to someone else. She rebooked us and honored the same rate I got earlier. That was kind of her.
Despite of the glitch, this hotel still stand out as one of the best Hampton we have stayed. I will stay again just that I will make sure I call to ensure the room is...
Read moreI was in town for the night and opted to stay here due to location. Close to the highway and very close to the road leading to the Cascades. I was traveling alone, I'm a female, and felt VERY comfortable here. The area itself was nice. Lots of shops near by. Including a Costco. Aka cheap gas and an easy dinner source, if you're a member. This hotel itself is very up-to-date aesthetically, has great wifi and is probably one of the nicest Hampton Inns I've stayed at. The desk staff was super friendly. I opted to use the mobile app for check-in. So I went to my room, and apparently the app or the bluetooth communication wasn't working properly. So I ventured back downstairs to the desk and was given a key. No problem. Went to my room and was impressed with the layout and how clean and updated everything was. The mini fridge was a welcome site as I had some perishables in a cooler. The bed was super comfy and had down or down-like filled pillows. Which is perfect for me because I loath big fluffy ones. They also provided body gel, shampoo and conditioner in those big bottles attached on the shower wall. I appreciate that, as I hate opening up one bar of soap to wash my hands for just one night knowing it will be tossed out by the cleaning crew. My only complaint and it's super minor and totally bizarre; is that the room blinds, which are remote controlled, randomly opened by themselves at 0625 giving me an unwelcomed wakeup call. It freaked me out, not going to lie. The breakfast was good. They had an assortment of things for everyone's taste. Cereal, bagels, fruit, waffles, and some hot options. I don't drink dairy and was so happy to see soy milk available in the frig where they kept milk. I was actually able to enjoy coffee! I would totally...
