They have a nice disk golf set up in the park. Most of the baskets are in the woods, covered by trees. The baskets can be hard to see sometimes from the start point. For some of the baskets they are very close to 3A (busy street) so more care is required so as not to accidentally get your disk on the road. There is also one hole (basket) that is rather muddy, so bringing shoes that are ok to get dirty is advisable.
When I went it wasn't buggy but a good portion of the disk golf is in a wooded area so bringing some bug spray might be helpful. There also is some poison ivy in the woods so be careful where you step and grab.
There isn't really a good walking path I saw for any hikers/walkers, runners, or bikers.
It has some nice baseball fields and when organized games are going on there is a concession stand open.
They have a playground, which I didn't really check out but it looked nice from a distance.
The parking lot is decent, when games are going on it can get full but people find spots to park (some parked in the grass along the entrance to the park). It does have a parking spot on asphalt, in case that was a question.
It has some picnic benches and if I remember correctly some grills for cookouts.
I didn't notice if it had restrooms as I didn't need it but if it does I assume it would be by the/connected to the concession stand...
Read moreI recently visited this park with my two year old, and we had a great time. The park has something for kids of all ages, from infants to big kids.
There are swings for all ages, including infant swings with high backs and safety belts. There are also a variety of slides, including slides that are appropriate for toddlers and slides that are more challenging for older kids.
The park also has a kids picnic table with shade, a mechanical toy to play with sand, and a tree house structure to walk to. There are also plenty of picnic tables and restrooms, so you can stay comfortable while you're there.
One of the things I liked best about the park is that it's well-maintained. The playground equipment is clean and in good condition, and the grounds are well-groomed.
Another thing I liked is that the park is located in a safe area. It's surrounded by trees and a fence, so you can feel confident that your kids are safe while they're playing.
Overall, I highly recommend this park to families with young children. It's a great place to let your kids run around and play, and it's a great way to...
Read moreThis playground was a lot of fun, with three jungle gym structures, two sets of swings (one for infants/toddlers, and one for older children/adults), and a seasonal splash pad/pool. The pool was now in-season when we went at the end of April, however. There were a lot of varying physically -demanding parts of the guns, that the kids seemed to love. There was one port-a-potty on site, right outside the gate of the playground area, and there were benches/tables for grilling as well as one grill, that I observed. It was a really nice park that I'd look forward to...
