One of the few restaurants that serve India street food like chat, vada pav and indo chinese along with regular Indian dishes. Their spice level matches Indian standards, which is rare to find in Boston Metro area. Reducing one star because - They are primarily a take out/self service restaurant. You have to place the order yourself at the counter. The decor, interior design and location in a warehouse is run-down (see picture, thats the main entrance). The service plates and utensils are all plastic. They are often under-staffed at rush hours and you have to go wait in line again if you miss to order an extra drink or a side dish. I am not complaining about the level, and I eat at all sort of places. But their menu pricing is like a fine-dine full service restaurant. $7 for samosa dish is high for a self service restaurant at such a location maintenance. I will continue to eat here since their food is amazing, but less frequently than I would have otherwise.

Good food and reasonably priced. It's more of a self service restaurant. We had to order our entire meal not from the table but at the reception counter. We ordered Shahi Kachori and Dahi Wada, a combo with one curry and two plain parathas. Meal was served in the same order, kachori, wada, combo with chapati aa they ran out of rice and parathas a little late. Had to pic our plates, spoons and a glass of water ourselves; self service. Also the to-go boxes at the end for dahiwads which we enjoyed next morning.. There's no tip section on receipt so you don't have to tip anyone. Don't expect very warm and welcoming staff and incredible service as it's more of a self service restaurant. Focus on food rather. Plenty of slotted parking space.

Under the same management as ritu ki rasoi. Not sure it happens every Friday evening - the Friday we went had live music 🎼 … It was a bit too loud for my taste and didn’t enhance the dining experience on the contrary it was a distraction. Food wise portions are bigger which justifies the price, however my taste buds were not stimulated to say the least. One good thing though it didn’t have a lot of the commercial sauces, felt more like something you prepare at home. One thing I wouldn’t recommend is the masala tea, I like my tea to be strong and with more milk, this is a watered down version. Indo Chinese was decent. Wada Pav was good, gajar halwa was toooooo sweet ..

Editing again the review.. post 6-24-21 visit. Surprisingly the food did arrive on time and the taste was as usual. Nothing extraordinaire. An Indian male server serving the food was quite impolite, argued over the number of boxes we needed to pack our food and rudely denied to provide any box for the sambhar but later decided to bring the boxes. Asked for Splenda but the same impolite person decided to hand over only one packet. We told we needed atleast 2 since we have 2 chai. So then he gave only 2. As if this wasn't enough already, before leaving, the same person reminded us to pay for water bottle even before we could even get up from our seats rather than any thank you or goodnight greetings. This pathetic place doesn't even serve a water bottle. Seriously the worst ever place for a dine in experience. Would have complained to the manager but that lady herself doesn't come across responsive. I'd give a negative star if there was an option. I travel many places and write review but this is by far the most pathetic place with respect to customer service. Not sure how are they surviving with absolute no etiquettes of hospitality. Never coming back again.

Review based on experiences accumulated through many visits here. As far as the food goes, some of the items taste good compared to most of the Indian restaurants that we have tried in this area. However, service is pathetic. The serving staff (depending on who) can be polite and courteous but the owner/lady seems pretty rude. Never seen her greet even once or show any courtesy (even when we were the only ones getting our food and she sat right in front with no greetings) and on few occasions can hear her yellings.. extremely awkward. Usual wait times seem to be 30-45 mins, orders arriving at different timings for the same table. We ordered together, and I ended up waiting and waiting while my partner was long done eating since his was served much before. So it deafeted the entire purpose of coming to dine in together. It's just like a food joint without any restaurant etiquettes or any care for...

The the worst experience in restaurant ever. We decided to check it out because it’s newly opened. The front desk person is very rude especially for a brand new restaurant. When requested for the booth her expression was very uncordial towards us . After that it took them over 20 min to take the order for food. After waiting for over 30 minutes from 7 to 7.30 pm no food came, not even the appetizer or the soup. In addition, guests who arrived 15 min after us received the same order and the waiter who took our order never came to check back on us. This is a restaurant with extremely poor customer. When we got up to complain, the waiter told us that there was some glitch in the system because of which our order had never gone through and he is sending it now. It’s interesting that nobody came to check on us for over 30 minutes or tell us that there is a glitch in the system because they don’t care that the guest is waiting. Everybody else who came after us received their orders. And when we went to the front desk lady to complain, she picked up the phone to cater to her to-go orders. This is a restaurant whose dine-in should be canceled because all they care about are there to-go orders. A new restaurant which does not know how to manage the crowd or to provide the dinner at the peak dinner time. Plus the front desk lady is pointing fingers at her waiters and treating them poorly in front of guests. I wonder how this restaurant got the permission to open in the first place. I really wish some food critics visits them to cancel their certification. Extremely disappointed with how the evening turned out. Will Not recommend this restaurant to anybody. They don’t deserve even the 1 star that I am putting here to...

This was among out worst experiences in a restaurant. We decided to ind in here because it was newly opened.

The front desk person was rude especially for a brand new restaurant. When we requested a booth (because the evening rush hadn't started) her expression was very uncordial towards us . After that it took them over 20 min to take our order.

We then waited for over 30 minutes (from 7 to 7.30 pm). No food was served; not even the soup and appetizer. In addition, food was served on several tables where guests had arrived 15+ min after us. Some of these orders being served were literally the same menu items as the ones we had ordered. The server who took our order never came to check back on us.

Finally after waiting 30+ minutes, we got up to complain and were told by a different server that there was some glitch in their system due to which our order had never gone through and that he was sending it now. It is interesting that nobody came to check on us during all this time, while several servers were seeing our empty table.

When we went to the front desk lady to complain, she picked up the phone to cater their to-go orders. If this is their focus, whey even bother having a dine-in option.

This doesn't look good for a (new) restaurant which does not know how to manage the patrons or to provide dinner in a timely manner. Plus the front desk woman was pointing fingers at her waiters and treating them poorly (sometimes yelling) in front of guests.

We were very disappointed with how our Friday evening turned out.

We will Not recommend this restaurant to anybody. The only reason they even received 1 star here is because it is required in order to...
