There is such a great variety and quality of food and flowers here with plenty of parking to accommodate large crowds and all of the items are priced fairly. Two things to note; first the market doesn't allow dogs leash or no leash, second even though the market is at a church there was no one there trying to get people to convert/attend services.
Half way through my visit I realized that I had lost my wallet and panicking I went back to each stand I had previously purchased from but none of the sellers had seen my wallet. I was about ready to give up but then I saw one stand that said EBT, which is cool to know that they accept it at this farmers market, and there was my wallet!!! I went up to the woman at the stand and asked if this was a lost and found also, she said yes but before she would let me even touch my wallet she asked me for my name and for permission to open the wallet and check to see if I wasn't lying. If you walk to the end, you can exchange money from a bank account into market coins. It's just a two dollar charge. You will receive market coins in increments of $5. Some vendors will take credit or debit cards as payment, yet others are cash or $5 market coins only. I am glad to support local MN Farmers and vendors! I enjoyed the violinist playing music. I found lovely annual flowers, a rhubarb plant, meat and honey. There were also coffee drinks, kettle corn, bread, beef, sheep, pork and several cuts of meat, fresh herbs, hanging baskets with gorgeous flowers, and many other plants and vegetables.
