I've been coming here for about a year for repairs and oil changes and I even bought a pair of tires here last fall during a sale. The guys here are absolutely awesome! I usually speak to Dave on the phone but all of the mechanics here are SO helpful and friendly. Service is always quick and their communication throughout the entire process is top tier. They thoroughly explain what is going on with my vehicle and present my options in a way that is clear to understand, offering advice and suggestions whenever possible without obligation. I am never left feeling like I'm being sold on unnecessary work or parts. Any time they need to order parts, I am always offered a fair market rate and I am told up front what to expect for cost and labor. As a young woman, it is difficult to find a reliable shop that isn't trying to take me for a ride due to my lack of auto knowledge. These guys are honest and provide excellent service every single time. I will be bringing my vehicle here as long as I live in the area. If you dread car repairs because you feel like you might be getting duped or overcharged then bring your vehicle to River Hills Automotive. I look for peace of mind first and foremost when shopping for a repair shop. My husband and I went a few years without that peace of mind before we started bringing our vehicles here. Dave told me the other day that I need to add oil in between oil changes and if I bring it in they’ll do it for free. He told me I’d be upset with myself if I let the oil get too low and blew my engine because there’s nothing else wrong with my van! It’s 11 years old and I appreciated him saying that. It put a smile on my face for the next week because I have a big family and other bills to pay. My husband feels the same way.

Knowledgeable staff and fair pricing. I have taken my cars to other area mechanics and been given mediocre to poor service; attempting to sell me minor or major things I did not need or misdiagnosing issues. I tried River Hills Automotive and have been pleased. They are experienced and try to fix car problems in the simplest and cheapest ways possible (rather than more complex and costly ways). In the most recent case, I took a recently purchased used car to them and they fixed it for less than $50. The dealership from which I purchased the car wanted over $500 because they had misdiagnosed 1 of the problems as something relatively complex (and thus costly).
