Tavern 13 — Restaurant in Burnsville

I wish I could give negative stars. This was the worst service I’ve experienced in a long time. We went here on 3/5/21. We met some people here and I knew from the start the service would be bad. We had a tall blond for our waitress. We had to grab her to order as we sat for a long time. Then she said she didn’t have a pen and would be back. What waitress doesn’t have a pen?! 10-15 minutes later she returned. I chose not to order anything because I wasn’t going to pay for bad service. I got water and my friend a salad. From the time we walked in until she got her salad, it was an hour. An hour for a salad. The waitress would disappear for long periods of time. We grabbed her and asked for the check. She disappeared for 20 minutes. Some guy came to clear the table and we asked him for our check. Never got it. 15 minutes after asking him, my friend got up and walked around to track down the waitress to get the check. Then my friend paid at the bar. This girl has no business being in any type of customer service. I told my friend to NOT give a tip for awful service. She did leave a tip but a bad tip. There poker game is so unprofessional with the gal that runs it Michelle tell there has been a lot of unprofessional decisions made all the time the one bartender doesn't keep up always forgets to serve in an appropriate time and there is always fights there not a good place I wouldn't recommend it to bring children for a family outing at night time when poker goes on in the evening very small place Elaina and Jamie and brook that works there are always on top of everything and very great service when I was going there but it's wayyyyy to much drama and they still run illegal poker there playing side cash games and the bartender Tracy knows and Michelle knows about it to Michelle even plays in side games she is a nurse and takes advantage of several people that I know are on disability money she it was stopped for awhile but I heard the word from someone that plays there they are playing cash games again and yes the pot lots of time goes over legal limit of $ 200.00 a lot they need to get shut down I will be contacting the gambling...

I ordered the Richard’s Burger with Onion Rings, they were out of mushrooms so I just didn’t get them on the burger, the burger was good even though I asked for medium and there wasn’t even a hint of pink so more medium well to well done, onion rings tasted a bit of freezer burnt. My wife had the “Mike Grip” sandwich which was served on toast but the meats and cheeses weren’t heated up or melted so the hot bread turned the lunch meat lukewarm and the cheese and bacon were cold as well. We thought maybe it was intended to be served like some sort of club sandwich, but there was no lettuce tomato included or listed with it on the menu. Maybe a new cook? The bartender/server was friendly and polite still got a 25% tip as the food is cheap! We never said anything as the overall taste was of the food was still good just most likely prepared wrong. And we were the only people sitting at a table at 530pm, everyone else was at the bar (probably locals who frequent). Definitely not making a scene in that...
